Paying for boosts goes against everything a PvP server stands for

i’m not subbed to WoW anymore, my game time ran out the day after this change was implemented. I don’t do auto pay on anything, for this very reason. I could have taken 2 minutes to buy another months membership but saw no reason to do so.

There were 3 other people there that also paid 2g each.

I see your point in all of this, although of course most of the responses won’t. I had some memorable experiences with World PVP while leveling my alliance recently and World PVP is my favorite thing about Classic. My favorite was in Redridge actually where we grouped up, fought back, and chased that undead rogue twink away. I also had plenty of same level battles in the world. It was fun.

The only thing is that most people doing the boosts have already leveled on a PVP server and these are alts so people have already been through it. Many people hate the Classic leveling experience and just want to get it over with on their alt.

I personally just enjoy leveling the normal way. I have many friends and guildies who do the boosting thing though and I try not to judge.

Lol, wpvp.

Seems to me that a pvp server stands for avoiding pvp as much as possible.

PvP server is for ganking people half your level or ganking single people while in a group… 1% of the time you will get even numbers and level, happens slightly less often than alliance winning AV.

that is sad

i just drank a glass full of tear juice after reading this then i chuckled and fell asleep laughing.

I don’t PvP, but makes sense to me. Yet another reason why boosting is bad for the game. Oh well, it is what it is. Blizzard is not going to do anything about it. And people are not going to stop cheesing and exploiting their way through games at every opportunity. It’s just modern cheat culture. They seem to take great pride in it. All one can do is frown upon such behavior and not participate.
