Blizz needs to credit everyone’s account with 3 free days so far, and counting.
Man people are out of touch with how hard it is to actually make an MMO like this especially with a massive population of clients dying to play it as soon as possible.
You have some options:
1.) move to a lower populated server. I have 2 other America servers that are considered “high” and I have no wait.
2.) don’t play.
just play on a different server?
For those of you who have been in queue for a long time, I must inform you that each inn has at least 100 people each sitting AFK and for some reason will not time out. 
yeah they were ready for launch if we are talking Zenimax Online Studios type of ready

its only free if your interested in retail, a LOT of us are only interested in classic and have not played retail in years, so the 15 is spent only for classic. its like saying you pay 15 for netflix for random movies, but you get the netflix specials for free, some ppl may only sub to netflix for orange is the new black or some other netflix special show,
you arent paying a sub for classic. you are paying a sub for fully expanded modern WoW, and classic is included. if you are paying 15 jsut for classic, then you are dumb. you didnt waste a day of subscription. you wasted a day sitting in a queue by choice when seeing that queue, you could have just played regular retail with no queue and thus no “lost day of subscription”

The only reason I am subbed is for classic. So it doesn’t matter how they slice it, I am paying for classic.
thats your own fault. thats like paying for a full game only to play one game mode and complaining when no one else is playing that mode so you sit in a matchmaker all day.

actually, I did sub for classic, see when I saw I could not play classic without pay a subscription fee (I have not played wow in years and I have not purchased any expansion after cataclysm came out), I had to pay that sub, therefore I subbed for classic (subbed 2 weeks before classic release and toured retail to see changes), if classic was free, your argument would be valid, but its not. Classic is locked behind having the sub. Therefore, its possible to sub only for classic play.
Your analogy is also a bad one, as there is no “base game” anymore to purchase. You can create an account and play to level 20 for free. To play beyond that, you’d need to subscribe, which would also give access to classic. The only “retail” thing to buy is the current expansion, BFA right now and is not required at all except for end game in retail, not tied to classic. So with this logic, nothing was spent on a game other than a sub, which is required to play classic. Look at it like this, its like purchasing a variety pack of cookies that has a special edition cookie flavor only in that pack, you didn’t buy the pack for all the flavors, only the special edition. not sure how you don’t get that is a thing.
You have access to play retail, so no, you arent paying $15 for nothing. Your tears taste good though,

in his defense (retail player here), i heard you cant open both games at once, so he either has to decide to play live, or play the classic queue boss. thats not a fun decision to make especially if all your freinds are playing classic.
Fire up your second BfA-less account to putz around on a no-queue realm like Azuresong while you’re waiting (since ~2pm PDT) in queue on Whitemane.
Maybe roll on a lower pop server?
