I did 3WQ, 3Daily and World Boss yesterday. And 3WQ, 3Daily today and I’m at 89%. I did open some chests, but they give no more than 1% each.
yeah I think they might have adjusted something or my rogue got more than it should have the first day for the world boss because my 3rd character may have taken a few more, although I did skip one quest yesterday.
Lied to again… /sigh #notanothercent
How many folks are working on wow? It seems like maybe less than a dozen employees are doing these patches.
Yes, and why? Even the 9.0 world bosses drop 500 anima now (unless you’re super behind on Renown). I know he gives Cyphers, too, but that should be a straight addition, not a replacement for 250 anima.
Lets be honest folks, the reality is that y’all are gonna log in every day and do the dailies and WQs anyways. The quest will get done. The “fix” that caused peeps to lose quest progression isnt that big of a deal. Is there some kind of FOMO thing or something if you dont get it done on day 1 of 7? If youre on every day or every other day for an hour or so, youll finish the quest anyways. Maybe that progression bar is giving some people anxiety?
If we’re going to be honest about it, we need to recognize that this game is sold on its emotional appeal. Players are going to follow their feelings. This is just another feelbad moment in an expansion that seems to be designed to be full of feelbad moments. Telling people they are wrong to feel the way they are feeling, especially when it’s the natural response to what they are responding to, will win you no points.
It is too bad the rewards are worse now with the change.
Oh goodness please dont think im trying to tell others how to feel. I very much understand if people want to feel let down. Completely their own choice. My point was to relay the sentiment that this let down we are feeling isnt that bad, once ive taken a brief moment to process it and see a slightly bigger picture. All is not lost, the sky has not fallen
You’re right. It wasn’t that big of a deal in the end. But at the time I originally posted this thread, I was still logged into the game and playing and truly had no idea what was going on. No one knew as there was no announcement. I didn’t know if it was a bug and I was going to take a step back every time I took two forward. I didn’t know if I would get sent back to 38% (or whatever it was) every time I reached 65%.
The thread kind of took off and took on a life of its own even after the blue post but it probably could have ended there.
Ive been guilty over the years of over-reacting, most probably worse, much worse than this. This game has given me quite a few shocks since its inception, most of which are anectodal and irrelevant. Just trying to point out a less apocalyptic picture these days (which may sometimes come off as a little cold, albeit realistic).
Main point: the grind hasn’t really changed has it we’ll just keep logging in anyways
**but seriously, keep using the forums to convey your experiences, thats what its for!
Translation: “I have no idea why they don’t feel like I do. It must be because they have chosen to feel let down. That’s their choice, just as I have chosen to post that they’re wrong to respond the way any normal person would respond in this situation.”
The “picture” you are imagining you view the world through is not a “big picture”. It is actually a small box you have chosen to close your mind into.
And you’re right. The sky has not fallen, and sensible people can completely ignore anybody who tells them they are feeling the most natural response to this situation only to annoy those who feel threatened by reality.
And what is the reality? That people get confused and pissed off by so many feelbad moments that have been built into the game. This should never have happened. Blizzard could have decided not to put that feelbad moment into the game.
Lol. Somebody, somewhere, clearly wronged you. Wasnt me though. Good luck with all that though.
