All this shows, though, is that people want to fly not that they like Pathfinder. It’s a tough topic to gauge imo.

The issue for me is flying never had this garbage tied to it for close to a decade. They should have left the option to buy with gold or do pathfinder. Blizzard hates giving players options. Everything is on rails it’s garbasso.

Yea exactly. If I had the option I would definitely not do pathfinder. I don’t get enjoyment from doing time-gated rep grinds and WQ’s.

BFA rep grinds can be completed in less than 30 days. It’s not even a grind.
Completing pathfinder doesn’t mean you have to like/enjoy it you know.

I’ve done so many WQ’s because they literally tie everything to them now so it looks like people enjoy them. I personally loathe them.

Yet they keep showing up.
Time and time again people discover that they hate being dirtbound and then having to worship every pixel the devs ever touched and choke down rep-grinds just for the privilege of waiting until the end of the content to even get a chance to finish up your chore list.
Its not surprising. People keep disliking that treatment. Whoda thunk it?

People make these posts because until Pathfinder came along flight was granted one way. Then there WAS A CHANGE.
The devs stated that there wouldn’t ever be classic servers. Then there WAS A CHANGE.

I mean at this point in time all they need to do is give the option of paying with it via gold or doing pathfinder. It’s literally the easiest fix but they refuse to hurt their time played metric. It also makes it appear as if people like pathfinder/rep/wq grinding. I definitely don’t.

I prefer paying gold at level cap but if PF has to exist, then, imo, it needs to be achievable during the leveling process so we can fly once we reach cap.

Pathfinder is fine. You get it organically. If you didn’t play during content you don’t deserve stuff from that content unless you work for it like the people who played the whole time
You don’t though. I literally never did WQ’s/dailies or cared about reps until it was required to fly. The only exception to this was MoP because of how they gated dailies behind dailies.
