Nope. Tortollen rep is still craptastically slow to gain and their quests are boring to do. 7th Legion on the other hand? I’ve been Exalted+ with them many times over.

It’s not a practical choice if there’s a large downside for taking it. Yeah I could technically walk several miles to work every day instead of driving, but I don’t because that’s stupid and incredibly disadvantageous in a world where everybody else drives.

Uh…they removed portals recently and one of their lame points was ‘find a mage to port you’.
So while I feel your pain, yes it IS a class thing. Different classes have different advantages.
If you want the advantage of druid…then play a druid.
If I cant scream about my missing portals and am told to play a mage or find a mage, then the same logic applies to your situation. If youre being outrun by a druid…then play a druid…or just deal with the shortcomings as they are.
It does serve a purpose, and it’s serves that prose admirably. It’s purpose is to keep people from flying until blizzard wants them to.
I’ve already done that experiment:

Let’s factor out the druid entirely. I, as a mage on a 100% ground mount, am not going be to be able to gather as effectively a mage on a 320% flying mount.
