It’s a drop from a rare. You have to make the glider through PoA, then go after the rare. It’s not guaranteed. I’ve known a few people who were Kyrian, used the PoA specific kite, did the encounter correctly and didn’t receive the mount.
Sundancer, thou meanst to say. I was referring to the Dauntless Duskrunner.
No. Time sink. Resource sink.
I can confidently claim this without having ANY idea how the Kyrian covenant works, because they are all the same.
YES. It gives many mounts and pets and mogs. It’s very easy once you figure it out. The achievements for the vendor mounts are very easy to do, and the mounts cost 2500 anima each. Then there’s the feather thingy to get sundancer. And then theres extra mounts for beating certain enemies.
Oh, that’s a shared mount. My bad. I’ll eventually just get it easily from my Night Fae garden. Heh.
… you have to buy them? Eff that then.
Yes but I find 2500 anima to be easy to get. There’s like 5 or so, for a total of 12.5k~ anima(might be 4, have to recheck later). Then the “freebie” ones just for beating certain enemies.
The thing that gets me the most is the discrepancy between the Kyrian and the Necrolord activities. I easily completed all the Necrolord levels and had a lot of fun doing them too. Sure there was anima grind, and at higher levels, some rare bosses to kill. But , all in all, a very doable and enjoyable time. Now every week, I get about a dozen fairly quick quests which reward crafting mats as well as stitching mats, so still picking up rewards from them.
Did the same developer come up with both activities and say I’m gonna give the fun stuff to the Necrolords and the horrible crap to the Kyrians??
I started putting in some time into it and it is actually a lot of fun.
The amount of anima grinding though, dude, why?
Like, I actually dig the idea of challenging solo content for an exclusive mog and I feel like the “vehicle combat” mechanic makes it more equalized for class/gear than other solo content, but having to dump close to 50k anima to upgrade and then buy the grand prize? Yikes. Come on Blizzard.
Blizzard could solve the content drought by increasing anima rewards by like x3 or x4. I guess we’re 3-4 weeks away from the new patch though so Blizzard will probably just ride it out. Still, it is a shame in my opinion.
The vehicle bar needs to go.
They are one off 4 button specs that aren’t fun to play.
