Path of Ascension tips and/or gripes?

All,

I have maxed my renown and finished my covenant story line, except for doing the mini-game Path of Ascension (Bastion). I will admit, every time I give it a try, my companion is killed (Pelagos) and I have no idea why anyone thinks this stupid mini-game is worth spending time on. Just my opinion; I’m sure many of you will think it just fine.

So – if you have good advice on how to beat Kalisthene, great, do please share!

Otherwise, if you have a clever way to complain about this particular feature of the game, wade on in.

I wish this particular aspect of the game had been left on crumpled post-it notes of the game designer’s brainstorming sessions, to be swept away by some custodian and end up composting next to a rotting banana somewhere.

Buggy, uninteresting and slapped together.

Had potential but essentially they didn’t really iron out;
the rate of acquisition to go into said challenge.
the quality of it.
and it doesn’t feel worth it.

I honestly didn’t bother to be quite honest, it’s clear as day they slapped together all the side events in the covenants.

With the Kyrian one being one of the worst.
