Please tell me this is sarcasm because this looks like a very… standard patch which only adds new systems/content and doesn’t address any of the issues we’ve actually had with SL so far AND introduces a bunch of new problems. Not really that pumped to be honest.

It will bring back some people if only to see the story but I think long term the grind will put us to where we are now held stable by the diehards. There will always be a player base for this game its almost a too big to ‘fail’ situation. But the current development stradegy of ‘system upon, system upon, system’ while ignoring player feedback is not a long term plan that will go over well once this xpac wraps up in 10.0. I don’t think its hyperbolic to say that this expansion has been almost if not as divisive as WoD. I was hoping we would get a second coming of Legion(because lets be fair were never getting another WoTLK) but the story for me has been predictable at best and the systems in place are just tedious and not interesting. I play a shaman and I knew something was wrong when if not for the systems in place my class would literally not function and from my observation this is not something that only my main class suffers from.

nothing is going to save WoW. it will live as long as it lives then die like any other game.

to quote a character from the game: “no king rules forever.”

Patch 9.1 they made renon from 40 to 80 the nerfed us more and then i seen him say there bugs but we can fix them next year lol . With ion allways next year

Now that I will be able to fly over the beautiful artwork and mobs that I’ve seen and killed thousands of times.

Now that I can stay in the Maw as long as I damn well please without the fear of being unable to escape.

I’ll put my BC adventure on hold and come back to Retail. But realistically, I’m still going to be splitting time between them.

This one phrase proves you have no idea lol.

It good to have that positive mindset, but it only going to get you that far

I think any patch arrival “saves” WoW.

At least for a few weeks. Then activity starts to dwindle and “wow is dying” and then we repeat.

Would be cool if they added more lasting content to work on, but they likely aren’t going to.

My sub ending

I commend you on the positive mindset but as the titanic was sinking a lovely group of gentleman played music with a smile as the ship went under the waves! they remained positive until the very end, we as players have a chance to stop that ship from its doom possibly if we provide honest feedback and NOT kudos for neglecting they’re game and players.
