IIRC, European Law requires companies with a pay-for service to provide a notice of termination, and a list of reasons as to why one may be terminated.
So yes, while it is on EU side of legal documentation, it should apply to everyone.
Itâs been 6 years since Mists of Pandaria released. Assuming a very conservative estimate of 2M subscribers per month since then, Blizzard has brought in 180 million in revenue from subscription services alone since that time.
A lack of resources does not seem to be a credible or reasonable rationale versus simply arguing that the Pandaren language is working as intended.
You also dodged the part of my question concerning cross-faction Blizzard communities.

Actually they probably could by simply scrambling the cypher for the âalternateâ version of those races. They literally only have to chance a small handful of letters to completely scrabble it, or just remove that base folder for that langauge.
Its not a case of not having the resources, they just chose not to give a nugget about it.
You can see the same language cypher being used in addons like Tounges if you really wanna eyeball it. This addon allows you to use same faction languages not native to your race, similar to the arcane tongues, without having to be a mage.
You can also break the cypher to communicate yourself, or with easy tools like those found on f00lâs website. This is something you constantly see in battlegrounds with the more aggressive players often spamming it. If you have people from Tichondrius on the opposite end of the battle ground, you will have a high chance of seeing these cyphers being used to belittle you.
Resources does not soley mean money.
Resources pertains to, in business, money, time, and someone willing to do it.
As for cross-faction communities the Bnet interface, and software is not a part of World of Warcraft. Communities is solely an integration the moment you join a community using your battletag instead of your character/toon, you enter a new realm of rules at that point as youâre switching software.
I think your math may be a bit off, unless I am misunderstanding you. 2m x $15 x 12 months x 6 years = over $2billion.

They didnât mean to break the addon, they are making an item that will be hotfixed in either this weekend or early next week that makes the addon redundant, allowing players to understand the other faction.

I think it is a vendor potion only, like Inky Black potion . Anyway, I love the they are going to fix it , BUT a missed opportunity to not make some kind of quest line to learn Draconic ( In game language ) via a long and exciting quest / proffesion maybe like Archeology.
But yeah, awesome fix anyway. Thanks a lot Blizzard.

So youâre arguing that even though Blizzard lacks the resources to address their âovesightâ of the Pandaren language, they do have sufficient resources to develop the Communities tools (something which no one asked for btw), which just so happens to integrate directly into WoWâs chat window thus allowing you to communicate with members of the opposing faction standing right next to you, within the game client.
This was all an accident and not intended by Blizzard?
