8.2 is a mid patch at best.

I just… I can’t imagine who is still excited to spend all that time gearing up, to have it all rendered meaningless …

… to again spend all that time gearing up, to have it all rendered meaningless …

… to again spend all that time gearing up, to have it all rendered meaningless …

… to again…

Seriously, you’re suggesting 4 times in one expac? It may have taken me all of Vanilla, all of BC, and to the end of LK to realize I was wasting my time with that treadmill, but at least I learned my lesson. And the first few didn’t feel like treadmills so much because everything was so new.

Now? You KNOW it’s coming. You KNOW your gear is going to be pointless, not just in the sense of the next raid tier, but in the inevitable “catch up” mechanic. I just… I can’t imagine how this is STILL considered the “end game” for WoW.

When WoW peaked in LK, I feel they should have taken all of that success and changed the course of what the “end game” should be. The WoW demographic is strongly middle-aged, who wants to just keep doing the same thing over and over and over again, each time your efforts are just rendered utterly meaningless? That’s fun in your teens with endless time to kill. Older people have better things to do with their time.

I think you’ll find most people on the forums want the exact opposite of WoD.

Maybe you haven’t been listening.

I certainly hope not, I still have entirely too much to do for 8.2 to be the last patch lol

Or maybe I am not so daft to the mindsets of those posting here on these forums and their attitudes and call it for what it is.

That’s not to say there are not those who genuinely care, but a good majority are the type who post things like “WoW is finally dying” “8.2 will be the last patch” ect, ect. The people who want the game to fail so they can say “See, told you so.”

Yeah. It’s not like you have any preconceived notions rolling around in your head.

Perish the thought.

edit: Oh, your edited you post.

And you certainly don’t either, Lejk.

Edit:

Yeah, added a bit more clarification to the end. I’m really bad about posting then going “Aw crud, I should have added a bit more.” I am usually pretty quick about it but ya beat me to the punch.

I’m not a “Green” either…

You’re initial post, the one that I commented on, shows exactly where your ideals lay.

In mockery and derision.

I mean, it’s fine. But that’s what it is.

edit: Oh, and again you’ve edited your post…

But they said grom hellscream was final boss of wod, but …

I’d just want to know what we do about the sword. Wasnt azerite the basis of the expansion why are we getting azshara thrown in randomly. Should have been in legion.

How original.

I have proven time and time again on these forums I don’t mindlessly follow Blizzard or agree with them on everything (Warmode, #Portalgate, ect). I, however, also don’t mindlessly follow the anti-Blizzard mob culture that seems so prevalent.

Its weird, its almost like I can be critical when I need to be critical without mindlessly going about saying “Everything is Bad” or “Everything is Good”

As it should, as someone who does not group myself with those who drench their statements in Hyperbole and gross exaggerations. Also, on the side that does not go for the “Your a green” statement in some odd attempt at invalidation.

Which is rich coming from you of all forum posters Lejk.

This time only because you edited

In a curve ball they went with a boss we Beat twice before (if you count war III) but WoD was blizzards try with a year long xpac cycle… Plus all the stuff in the background with titan… It didn’t work out well.

Take solice in the fact you’re not a green. After all how often do you see them post anything helpful? Just ignore (most of) them

And you’re a multi-quote poster as well? How thoroughly appropriate.

Here’s a heads up, one can be critical without mocking and being derisive. I know you may find that shocking, but it’s true.

That’s the issue I had with your first post. Not whatever it is you’re trying to sell.

I assumed, that by being a green, you were supposed to be above such… unnecessary and incendiary statements. That’s all.
If that’s not the case, that’s my bad.

Of course, you only edited because I did. Sigh.

Solid advice. Fair dues.
