You have a point but I’m also trying to keep in mind who would fit best and the limits Blizz is apparently placing on how many races can be this class and the Eredar and Orcs just seem to be a better fit at present. It would give people the Man’ari skins they’ve been dying for and I’d imagine a demon hunter orc would get the giblets wiggling for some. x,D
If blizz was going to start anywhere, I’m just hoping it would be with those two.
But again, I think you’re right with that reasoning everyone can be. x,D
But as for lore, beyond their catastrophic history with the burning Legion I don’t really have anything else to add. 
Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne after what happened in Legion would make sense too when you think about it…
