So ever since they’ve been made playable via preorder i’ve only seen about 2 of them ingame. And I’ve never seen any while questing, doing dungeons, ect. Are they just not a popular choice for DK’s? is it lore reasons? what’s up?

I just saw one tanking in TW the other day. It’s a new thing, so takes a little time to filter out in the world.
Honestly, I see more Vulpera on the forums than I do in the world.
I’ve seen a lot of them in the starting zone(newly created) never to be seen again lol
Yeah vulpera are everywhere on the forums and uncommon in game. I have seen a bunch of vulpera dk tho(i have one myself)

Pandaren are one of the least popular races to begin with, so it’s not super surprising to see few Pandaren DKs.
Some people just aren’t ready to become the master race.

Death comes to all. So long as any new Pandaren death knights suffer well I will call them brother/sister. The few I’ve seen like to take an agonizingly long time killing their victims. " Slow down, death is to be savoured" they said to me.

the people who play DK’s are edgelords.
There is nothing edgy about Pandas.
People play Pandas as a joke, or because they are a E-girl.
DK’s dont play Pandas, and the ones that do are extreme minorities.
the goofiness of Pandas clashes with the dark tone one generally wants when they roll a DK

My dk is female vulpera i like the way they look. Pandas just dont do it for alot of people… i guess it just depends what blows your hair back.
Nobody wants to play an obese furry. They’re 2% of the population overall, across both factions. I dont think the fantasy of the Pandaren meshes with DK at all. Fluffy nice panda people who eat and bounce around doesn’t exactly mesh well with a class that’s fantasy is defined by their eternal hunger for pain. DKs attract edgelords, the same edgelords that were so peeved about Mists’ anouncment that they made blizzard make a confirmation post to be sure that MoP wasn’t an elaborate joke on announcement.
Panda DKs are also new, which means that there will be far fewer. I’d go so far as to say that less than half a percent of DK players play panda.
Because DK pandas should be illegal in most states and upheald by the supreme court.

Looking at dataforazeroth, we can see that (among max level characters) Pandaren are actually not unpopular as a race. Combining H + A pandaren they make up ~2.4% of all max levels, putting them at 13th place behind Zandalari Trolls.
But when we look at Race + Class data it shows that overwhelmingly pandaren players prefer monk. Pandaren monks (H + A) are ~1.3% of of max level population - that’s over half of all Pandaren players. After that it’s Pandaren shamans at ~0.4%. DK Pandaren make up 0.11%.
So the main issue seems to be that players mainly only like Pandaren as monks, which IS their main conveyed aesthetic in the game.
