Pandaren Deathknights are more terrifying than you think

Gimme gimme gimme, I enjoy my own torment if steam doesn’t shoot out my ears it ain’t food.

We’re undead. It tells you that in the opening dialogue for making a DK.

“A hero. That’s what you once were. You stood boldly against the shadow and purchased another dawn for the world… with your life.

You fought against the Scourge, died, then the Lich King raised you.

There’s levels of that though. Vampires still have a metabolism.

I’m not sure what you mean.

You died then became a member of the Scourge.

So here’s kind of how I think about it. A zombie has no metabolism and is just driven to bite so it can spread zombification. The zombie will eventually decay because its life processes have halted. Same with skeletons, liches, they’re just consciousness bound artificially to something physical and they move that physical thing via magic.

A vampire still has a metabolism and although it constantly has to be kick-started, a vampire’s body can do things that usually only living things can do like heal its wounds. Vampires still eat. They traditionally only eat blood but they consume and absorb energy much like a living thing does.

What does that have to do with death knights? I’m confused.

I just want to know whether they’re very very undead like a zombie or a skeleton, or can still get nutrients from consuming food because they still have a metabolism.

Gameplay-wise Pandaren can’t be denied their racial and it’s bad to be an Earthen (they should have really reconsidered that, it’s way cool but it is very impeding at times), but In-Character I wonder if Death Knights still eat.

Forsaken still eat but I don’t think they’re getting anything out of it. I think it sort of… goes right through and they just do it for the memory or sensation. It’s not weird for that to provide the food buff because it may be psychological for them.

Thought they said this during starter quest?
But I do know they benefit from eating food like how ghouls can.

No, you’re never told you’re half alive.

You fought against the Scourge, you died, the Lich King raised you.

It some how makes you stronger.

7-8 feet tall is only average for a person on Azeroth, tbh.

Trolls, Night Elves, Orcs, Tauren, Draenei, Worgen, and Kul Tirans are all 7 feet or above.

edit: oh, and Dracthyr are taller than 7 feet, too.

I’m surprised lizards aren’t 7 foot tall either.

Edit: nm lol

Forgot my own race there!

Not sure if anyone has properly measured Dracthyr, but they’re like Tauren height or taller.

Imagine a Tauren Death Knight then, as they are taller than Pandaren! :scream:

Yes, all of you imagine me.

Those rules make me think DKs really have more of a still-living metabolism because they’re fed before the ghouls.

Huh no, it’s because we outrank them.

That’s idiotic…
They’re still bears:

Do not look if squeamish, it is GRAPHIC.

Ugh, settle down, Francis.

I was going to ignore this article until you said this. Now I must investigate.

They really didn’t do Pandaren justice if you go by the lore
