They’re both healers. Mistweaver is also primarily Yu’lon which is why it makes more sense for a Jade Serpent to be the healer form. Unless you wanted to make it different from Mistweaver so they’re less similar, then sure it can be a Crane. Colors of Resto still would match with Yu’lon though.

Considering trolls got druids just because the loa were wild gods and one of them taught it to them, I think the same logic can apply to Pandaren and have them learn some form of druidism from them.
Or could have a thing where the Cenarion Circle arrives in Pandaria to help heal the vale and teaches the Pandaren while theyre at it

They could easily tweak the Panderan starter experience to make it work, considering MoP happened a number of years ago even in the game timeline.
It would be alot of retcon and resources to do so like I said
A lorehead once told me the reason why panderans can’t be druids, and I laughed and said “you’re joking right?” but she was dead serious and that’s when I realized that blizzard lore writers are worst than the balance department. Sigh, I wish they were all cool like the art department.
We are well past the point of LORE for the pandas, it’s a known land and it’s not a mystery anymore, druids can come and go as they please teaching people, just like Pandas can be deathknights now they can be druids.

There’s this time zone locking that’s in the way
Wandering isle as a level 1 pandaren is “timelocked” to MoP
That is why I keep saying you can’t put a druid trainer there and call it a day
Also pandaren death knights exist because bolvar started collecting dead bodies from the 4th war
But you literally can, with how scaling is now it is not out of this world to have a druid trainer in Pandaria, get rid of the turtle starting island or change it in a way that falls under the current timeline, when the horde and alliance came to Pandaria a druid came and trained some pandas. They then brought that knowledge to others and eventually one sits upon the turtle waiting on new pandas.
I’m not getting snarky at you, I’m just a little salty at Blizz if that is actually the reason why.
In my mind, they both could do damage, and both could heal, but I think that Jade Serpent fits the stereotypical healing thing more and Chi-Ji would make a better moonkin purely because he is a bird.
Just another reason Pandaren druids could become a reality. Gilneans, Kul’Tirans, and Zandalari all had druids before the Horde or Alliance found them, there is no lore not saying Pandaren could take the form of the Celestials. Sure the August Celestials taught them how to be Monks, but they are also Wild Gods like Rhielle said, and really Wild Gods are very druidic.
I just think that Pandaren Druids make more sense lore-wise than Tauren Druids.

more druid races would make me very happy! undead! pandaren would be fluffy…
… pandaren tiger form thats attractive and not the abortion that the zandalari cat form is would be great too…
idgaf about lore, its too inconsistent and they retcon stuff too often for me to put any time or energy into caring about that… imagine reading quests when youre leveling lol.
