Crusader strike existed in beta wow, so that really isn’t a big deal on its own, since it drains their mana.
The problem is that it gives them mana, and in tandem with all the other paladin runes it makes the class stupidly strong.

When was the last time you played reck ret? Pservers? You cant sit stack reck charges anymore. You’re wild if you think thats gonna be the meta, especially with items like helms that reduce your chance to be crit by a whopping 5%. Enjoy trying to stack reck with that without gimping your survivability. TBF, I also think deep ret is garbage. Holy shock ret for extra burst and a lot more survivability is the correct build.
And you think exorcism/interrupt beats a ranged daze that can be dispelled by, let me check my notes here, one class for the horde? Oof. The horde will be lucky to run into pallies like you.
Dazed effect can only be stopped by mages iceblock and paladins bubble afaik.

It depends on if it works like the TBC avenger’s shield, which is a magic debuff despite being daze.

Poor pallys always been a meem now the sun shines a bit and ppl who have been able to smash the whole time are mad the games not even out yet and there spiting on pallys let us smash some lol

Someone sounds mad that Paladins in Classic are going to be able to do DPS.

They were mad during 04 beta etc due to Seal of the Crusader pre nerf.

hardiness or wotf on two races vs. 10% stat, 30% less threat, MP5, HP5 every other buff on one class

Paladins had Crusader Strike in the beta for Vanilla WoW. Its not that outlandish (see what I did there).
Other tanks don’t have shield to increase their avoidance chance to reduce the chance of crushing blows. Paladin can potentially reach avoidance cap to be fully immune to crushing blows and crit hits.
So much arrogance…
Sit-stacking was fun, but you can still stack it by aggroing a specific types of mobs with fast attack speed or have a friend fmage (r1 fbolt), rogue/druid to stack it in a duel. It is just slower for solo right now.
But on bgs you get crit a lot : rogues, warriors, hunters/their pets - all work as your batteries.
Not playing reck = losing tons of value. Esp when all these runes are not tied to a spec.
Imagine 5 autos + 5 martyrdom procs (which should be able to crit if it is replica of SoBlood) + crusader strike + few shadow bolt procs from shadow oil in 1 gcd.
That rune slot is very competetive : fear breaker, exorcism, interrupt. If first one works on a paladin himself, it will be a must pick.
You can lvl yourself a paladin and play deep holy with command like garbo if you like. Chads always play reck: holy reck (spell reckoning) or ret/reck.

You even ever actually play a shaman? Or did you only ever make that shaman to level it up to 70 so you could post on it. Shamans tanked in original Vanilla WoW some in Enh spec. This time around they also did so in Classic, TBC Classic and in SOM.
They make great off tanks.
Can be main tank in dungeons.
And also this is why I ask if you even play that toon?
You rarely PvP in Enh spec on your sham. For WPvP you go in as Ele in level 60 version. Ele or resto or enh at level 70 arena version. Elerest at level 70 version arenas, WPvP and BGs, Enh for BGs and arena too, ele for Wrath PvP.
