Paladins are too OP in PVP?

With a cc.

CCing someone is not kiting them. Two different things my friend.

Cant chase you when they are feared or cycloned. Puts distance.

So i’m now to use my CC DR to get at best 5-10 yards distant before fear breaks on it’s own even if I’ve done nothing to him? Or waste my Druids cyclone DR and a crazy amount of mana?

Again, CC isn’t kiting. If you could kite ANY melee then pvp wouldn’t be so root/melee dominated.

So because the very common horde tactic of way outnumbering a single alliance player before engaging them did not work, now there OP…

Wonder why Horde did not get one of their Paladins to counter him?

Sounds to me like the Ret Paladin knew his moves better than his opponents. 10 minutes? Yeah - I’m guessing there was no parity in skill

Its part of kiting, Ive seen locks destroy melee by using their ccs. If you wanna suck thats on you.
Its a way to get them to waste gap closers.

That would make them OP to Locks but not OP period.

I’m not saying they don’t have a lot in their kit, but people for years now have been throwing around the OP term so freely it hardly has the impact it used to.

When I was leveling my KT druid in BGs with my husband, I was naturally going up against a lot of Zandalari Paladins on the opposing team. I’ll tell you, it was pretty darn hard. We started joking that the team with more pallies would win (and we were usually correct).

I agree that ret pallies are fine in PvE (heck, I play one) but are very difficult to deal with in PvP, at least at lower levels. I don’t PvP at cap so I can’t speak for them there.

Yes and assuming i can set up my demonic portal and gateway on a convieniently placed arena ledge, i can do the same. Doesn’t mean i can kite them, because that’s not kiting.

I love being OP, makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

High level would pvp indicate no, they are not op

Blessing of Freedom to hand of hindrance gap closer horsie et HOJ anyone who says paladins still have issues closing gaps against ranged is a terrible paladin.

You must not play much against good players…Ya pallies are great at closing gaps in randoms against bads

Warrior used to have this ability called shattering throw that popped bubbles

Ret is OP. Ignore these casuals ret has the highest DPS burst in the game in PvP

You ever just sit back and read what you wrote and then it hits you that idk maybe youre just garbage?.. in no world would it take 6 fully functioning people to kill 1 ret… I mean if you had like 6 brain dead on life support potatoes doing it maybe but other than that yall were just trash lol…

This. In no way does this reflect on the Paladin or the class. Even if it’s 2-3 people and you’re not taking down a ret, it’s 100% on you guys and your skill level. Definitely a l2p issue.

Did you check this “single ret” paladin’s gear and arena/RBG rating?

Your ilvl seems solid - no reason he should’ve wreckd you unless his gear is significantly better or you played like an AI.

Whatever the case, you have a very cool name. I knew a kid in elem school that had that name.
