S3 is infinitely better looking than S2 and the only bad thing about S1 is the helmet.
Why does this actually matter?
We already have the mogs… or can get the mogs from the current or past seasons. (except elite pvp for past seasons who didn’t get them i guess)

Another vote here for Judgment, reincarnated.
The tier sets for paladin are more often than not pretty mid. Season 2 was best so far, the bronze and gold season 3 was decent if mixed with other pieces.
But seriously, if we are talking mog votes?
I’d “vote” to have the priest tier 2 set (Furnace Seraph (Heroic) for paladins. That set looks more like ‘Paladin’ wear than most things we have had in AGES.
If I could make that a transmog option, I definitely would. Even the pants are sick! We need more options similar honestly

I’m not really impressed with any pally mog sets, compared to other class sets. I would like to see them put a little more effort into pally gear.

From the next expansion there is the Arathi faction which has some artwork of what looks like an insanely cool paladin set. I have no idea how we got nothing like that throughout this expac personally but I hope that is what we get in the first season of next expac at least, it is extremely good.
Season 2 set would have owned with an open robe though. Its probably one of the most aggressive looking paladin sets we have gotten, and for some reason they gave it the cleric tube robe instead of the open robe which is far more aggressive looking. It would have been perfect for that set. I really hope they at least add an option for that in season 4 if we get season 2 tier look back. I like this set more than the priest set from the same season, the wings are just weird and too flappy I didn’t end up liking them, but the tube robe is just so bad from the pally set.

I like S3 a lot, other than the over-large shoulder swords. Those are a bit silly. If we get stuck with another Impossible Plate Dress™ I give up.
It was cool when it was Judgement. Now it’s just annoying.
I missed out on the Mythic effects for Season 1 armor since I didn’t do much M+ so didn’t get KSH (and I’m certainly no Mythic raider or PVP Loa), but it looks like I’ll just have to be ok with it since S1 is losing. 
You can still get it though. You just have to kill Rasz on mythic and you get it, can get it anytime even after this expac. The other two ways to get it are seasonal but you’ll always be able to get it from the mythic kill of that end boss, same with sark. With fated coming back around you’ll have another chance to get the stone for the mythic effects, you don’t need the season 1 set to come back in order to get them.
Otherwise then you’d just have to wait until rasz becomes farmable. Even if the season 1 set came back you still wouldn’t be able to get the mythic effects on your normal/heroic pieces of gear since you need the stone for that. Unless you mean the mythic set itself and I misunderstood.

I’m not sayin’ we were robbed, but if Blizzard wants to reuse assets and just make new Helms, Shoulders and Belts… … …

Big agree, these aets have been horrid.
S2 is meh but this obsession with ridiculously big shoulders killed that for me.

Recoloring it certainly isn’t going to fix the tube sock legs or the billboard shoulders.
Well to be fair, the Season2 is probably the most “Paladin” looking set we’ve gotten this expansion.
Recoloring it doesn’t obviously fix the issues with the set clipping around the waist, and the tube like feeling of the dress, but it does allow players to mix and match it with other sets while still looking coherent, to help with customization and fixing those issues.
It’s not fun to be pigeonholed to the same color scheme every raid, but a lot of people have been remarking on how tones or shades of colors have been slightly off.

What I really want is the blue Judgement recolor that they had during the Wrath prepatch event. I kick myself every time I think about how I vendored it for silly bag space in the days before transmog.
