I know it’s mostly preference, but what is better at solo and dungeons, etc? DK or Paladin? Thoughts?
Both have good self sustain so will be good doing solo dungeons. You are probably looking at Prot versus Blood in that scenario. Prot will clear trash faster but Blood will technically live longer if it gets down to it.
Prot to me is the best all around tank spec in the game. Decent at all content including casual PvP given you can spec for amazing off heals.
Blood is very much a PvE tank and nothing else. Fun mechanically but quite bland in the animations department. Arguably the best solo PvE spec if you are happy grinding away.
DPS then DK takes it all day. Ret is notorious for getting jerked around whereas DK has both Frost and Unholy and one is always good.
Both should carry through just about every fight
