It feels really weird to me that if you counterspell/spell lock/kick a paladin while they’re casting a holy spell that they can then immediately bubble. Since its a holy spell shouldn’t it be locked if their holy spell school is locked? I think this is a pretty minor change that could aid a lot of counter play to PvP and make the game feel more fair.
Agree, also can we allow terror and fear to share DR, you know if we want a “fair” game… lol warlock.
It was designed as an FU button. There’s no countering it and nothing is changing about it.
to my knowledge counterspell ect does make divine shield unusable until counterspell wears off. you might be mistaken. a video of it would be helpful.
I’ve tested this in a duel with a mage friend before and yeah they can’t bubble if they get counterspelled.
I have to say, it’s nice to see all the “paladin” threads on the forums, just like back in vanilla, it’s very in the spirit of no changes, so kudos to the community…
If they bubble immediately after your spell lock, you missed your interrupt.
OP is 100% wrong. Divine Shield will be spell locked along with every other holy spell if you hit your interrupt.
No that wouldn’t make any sense, GOD HIMSELF says NOPE that this guy is fine and not to be messed with so you can lock the paladin from reaching out to god but you can’t lock god out of reaching out to the paladin.
So a 5 minute cooldown should be even more useless? (i.e. it still gets locked anyway)
A horde warlock complaining is rich. Wanna know what alliance warlocks gotta deal with? AN ARMY of undead all pressing a 2 minute button that breaks their fear and gives them immunity to it for 5 seconds…without cooling their PvP trinket.
GET OUTTA HERE WITH YOUR EXTREMELY MINOR GRIPE.
Pretty sure whenever i’ve been spell locked my divine shield also has that annoying 5 second timer on it preventing it from being used.
A warlock complaining about something?? HAHAH did you try fearing it??
bubble is locked after getting counterspelled — if a paladin is silenced only, they can still use it.
If you’re talking about fudgery with spell batching - ya, might need a fix.
If you interrupt their cast, they can not cast bubble. If you put a blanket silence on them, they can.
Of all the things to ask for, you’re going to ask for silences to be even more effective on paladins? Arent warlocks and mages strong enough?
