Paid Beta Test

:100:

Personally I have many issues with this game. For years. So the bad performance isn’t the main reason for cancelling my sub.
The amount of bugs however in this expansion is really something else. Honeymoon is long over and more and more people will eventually put their rose-colored glasses down.

We use the term, ā€œearly accessā€ now.

I said it during SL and I’ll stick to it.
At this point I think they could have delayed by a year and still released a bug ridden game.
It’s not just that they did a rush job, its almost 2 decades of spaghetti code and overlapping assets. The engine needs updated something awful and code cleaned up through the years from all the different hands that have been in it. But if they took the time to try and fix every bug and rewrite all the crappy code, edit strings etc, the game would probably die finally. They know this, so they have to keep content flowing, even when its flowing like molasses as in SL
I’d honestly be curious to see some of the comment lines in the code after all these years. I’m sure there is some history there.

If you trot out a post with the same old talking points you can get at least 20 likes. But you dont feel loved, do you?

Its not a paid beta test if you dont pay. But you do pay. And here you are. Id maybe explore why that is.

that is actually an improvement.

my DH would DC 100% of the time landing in ardenweald HQ tree via oribos flight master. Damn near every time. I’d land somewhere else and fly in another way.

Just the DH. other classes were fine.

Comes out on time and it’s ā€œstill betaā€
They take the time to smash as many bugs as possible and release late and ā€œthey’re incompetent and need to be firedā€

There is no pleasing anyone on the forums

They rush it out because f the negative publicly they were getting from a women employee dying from males employees causing her to take her own life, and alot of people left there game because of what the males employees did and they thought by getting dragon flight out they could make everyone forget they had a women worker took there own life because of there coworkers blank to her

The crowd around here has been defending their paying to beta test for so long that Blizz could literally market the game as a beta and sell it to them for full price.

They rushed the expansion. They rushed this expansion way too hard and they should not have rushed this expansion the way they did.

I dunno what you call this expansion, but the character progression is too slow. The game still doesn’t respect my time whatsoever, doesn’t matter how many bells, whistles, talent tree revamps they do.

If I spend the same amount of time in any other RPG game, I progress my character at least 3x faster. I’m paying a monthly sub to take forever to progress my character for no reason.
This game is donzeo after Wrath ends.

ā€œIts not perfect!ā€ infant crying sounds

No game will ever respect your specific time frame. You learn to work around its or not at all my dude

You missed one letter there. See how easy it is for something to go wrong? (I know bad example… I’m just playing devil’s advocate)

What are you on about? Literally every single player game can respect my specific time frame.

Path of Exile can respect my time frame. ESO can respect my time. Other MMOs can respect my time. It’s just retail WoW that has a problem, not my problem though.

Think I’ve had it happen a few dozen times. Good thing I stay stacked with glider kits too because a handful of times I’ve just been randomly dismounted at a thousand feet (no wingshredders/people surging me/flying over the pvp quest in Ohn’aran).

Have received primal chaos instead of items shown from WQs and vice versa.

A few times ā€œdrakebreakerā€ items have come with no PvP ilvl.

From last Tuesday until this Tuesday drakebreaker trophy upgrades were showing they’d go from 369 to over 400 ilvl with a 476 pvp ilvl.

Community feasts not finishing/not spawning Bisquius.

Dragonbane keep siege showing it is about to go while in Valdrakken, fly to waking shores and it’s no longer available, leave the zone and return and it comes back.

Items from crafting orders on alts never showing up.

Just a handful of bugs I’ve experienced and not the full list.

Even Wrath Classic respects my time more.

I like you all think (hope?) that Blizzard pays attention to ANY of your complaints.

The WoW community lost all credibility back in OG BC/WotLK; the casuals demanded epics or they would leave - they got epics and they still left.

There are RARELY any good ideas, comments, feedback, observations and/or posts.

This community has terrible ideas. You do not understand how business, programming and even common sense works. Yet, you post a seemingly endless stream of garbage on here;

-banning people who view your profile

-banning people who you have ignored

-accusing Blizzard of having private servers for streamers

-claiming ā€œsocial contractsā€ are in effect and how Blizzard has violated them - yet, the same people disregard the ToS in regards to any sort of contract

-throwing an utter fit and melt down over same sex mythical creatures being in a relationship…

-crying over being persecuted because a female is leading in some capacity and the general ā€œanti-wokeā€ points

You have no direction in your demands - you are basically throwing everything and seeing what sticks… and you are paying for it.

You are paying $15 a month to just whine, complain and throw alfalfa level tantrums.

Sad. Very sad.

I’ll bet you a million dollars there are programmers and business majors who play this. Try not to get too emotional.

I mean go play those then

Blizzard aint gotta change it all for yoy

Special lad. ā€œPayā€ isn’t the word I’d use, given the ease with which tokens come. It’s been years since I’ve spent USD on this game. I would though, if tokens weren’t basically free.

So tired of everyone just assuming my state of mind from a post on the forums. I’m not just here to complain like you seem to think. This is an observation meant to spark discussion. If they are ā€œsame old talking pointsā€ then maybe it’s something Blizzard should look into.
