I agree… in fact they should just dump in BC and WOTLK and Cata in too… since you know… it doesn’t matter how much content is dropped in…
A perfect example of someone who never played vanilla lol.
There’s no point to doing previous content if you’ve maxed it out in this hypothetical scenario. But since you weren’t in their 40 man raid in the first place that has absolutely nothing to do with you anyway. Your snail trail guild can run mc forever.
People are directly correlating their own experiences and enjoyment in the game to guilds they aren’t apart of and have nothing to do with. If your own guild stops running mc before you have mc gear, join another guild.
The Horde does not exist. It’s a fictional faction in a MMO.
People are complaining about pvp on a pvp server.
The ones who never played before and bought into the “PvP servers are the REAL Classic experience!” schtick have my sympathy. The ones who played Vanilla on up should have known better.
That would be great. Blizz, do it.
These type of comments dont make sense to me. Does everyone just expect to roll up to BWL in greens and blues and come out alive? Do people belive they can just roll into AQ40 with “Pre-raid BiS” and then just take home some Epics? There is a loot progression in place that needs to be followed in order to be able to complete some of these later raids. NO one is rolling into Aq with out significant amoutns of nature resist gear and no one is zoning into naxx without frost resist. Heck, you cant even finish nef without killing onyxia enough times to craft the majority your raid group the cloak which protects you from his shadow flame. MC will be farmed for materials for legendary weapons, bwl will be farmed for materials for those same legendary weapons. Guilds will still need to clear this content.
Lmao bruh
Come to Faerlina dude. More balance.
Hur hur hur im so funny
As glorious and hellish phase 2 will be, people will level ok. Just slower.
Despite my excitement I’m starting to think Phase two will be a little less intense than I’m hoping.
Anectode flashback probably not worth anything today: We leveled on Archimonde when not max, but can’t recall how many we were facing on the daily ( a handful maybe) and overall few of us really knew the landscape like we do now. It was different leading up to wpvp in Vanilla. On my server, DhKs were put in before there was massive unrelentless corpse griefing forcing us to stop leveling entirely. That never quite happened.
I’ve had a name reserved on their since the first day we could make names. My plan was always to play Horde on Herod and Alliance on Faerlina. Now I’m wondering if I should roll Horde there and keep my options open for transfers. What would you suggest?
I started on Horde Faerlina. My warrior lives there and I hit the gear raid wall in a guild that pretty much fizzled. I lost heart in my rushed warrior - I flat out burned out. I miss tanking but will come back to it once things…settle in? I hope? If you know what I mean.
I’m a little late to Faerlina Alliance and absolutely love it. Rogue. I think its going to be the underdog realm. Tons of leveling going on at all phases it won’t be too late. Economy is great. AH is alt newer player friendly on both sides from what I see.
WPvP is pretty hot right now but I’m leveling just fine as a Rogue and others just stick together and travel to zones in packs.
Well, seeing as I actually only eat one actual meal a day, I think that stuff is gonna be a cold mess by the time I bother to have any.
A better analogy is you have a stocked kitchen, and you tell the family it’s up to them to figure out how to prepare the food, when they want it.
What happens?
Well, it depends on teh amount of planning and self control your family members have.
Some people, like me, can handle deferred gratification.
That isn’t a better analogy. In fact, that illustrates how destructive it would be to unleash all the content at once. WoW is a communal experience. Without people to group with, without people to barter with, without people to share the game with, the WoW model doesn’t work. Retail can simulate a single player game when it has to, Classic really can’t.
The point I am making here is, when you open up the pantry and let them figure out what and when they want to eat you eliminate the communal experience. That’s fine for filling your belly, but it breaks WoW.
You deconstructed a strawman, dude, not my analogy.
Everyone is going to cruise through the kitchen, and choose what they want, when they want it. Sometimes, people will team up to make something, or divide the labour involved, but there is no need for timegating, because everybody is capable of choosing what works for them.
You seem to be trying to say " people will gorge on all teh stuff you give them right away and leave nothing for others". I call bs -lots of people can consume content at a rate they find comfortable, and make it last to their contentment.
