I didn’t say it was only for tanks.
Timewalking has always been easily solo-able, though. If somebody wants to do so, let 'em.
well…if tanky poo is dashing like mad and DPS happen to be casters who have to stand still to cast…
Look man, if I’m in that dungeon I just wanna get out of there fast.
Don’t cast until the tank stops. Fixed.
Wrangle everything up in a ball and AOE it down.
uh huh…you clearly havent dealt with a ‘we dont stop for breaks’ tank, lmao.
and ive SEEN them literally move stuff OUT of casters AOE intentionally lol
There’s so much junk on the ground these days, we usually can’t even see your AOE.
possibly. But if the tank is going to keep moving non stop, he sure doesnt have much to say if DPS casters are lagging on damage, lol
The other day I was in a Da Other Side group with a couple other under geared and inexperienced players. We made to the final boss and healer and two DPS died very early on. Last DPS lasted maybe a minute longer. Tank was like “I’ll just solo it.” And he did. From like 80% to zero solo. The rest of us just laid there dead talking about the weather.
I mean, it’s nice that we didn’t technically wipe, but on the other hand, what’s the point of the rest of us being in the group?
All true.
My point is, if you’re over geared and you see ppl with bad gear/struggling… help them instead of flying through the dungeon if they can’t keep up for w/e reason.
Who’s complaining about damage? Nobody mentioned in this thread.
lol that’s why i said it’s as simple as not dpsing. i, as a caster, know better.
lmao…DUDE SOLOING the place literally IMPLIES that the tank is doing massive damage.
And ive see these overgeared tanks commenting about how DPS arent keeping up on Details…lol. Well some of them CANT when youre running thru like your rump is ablaze.
yet, you lack introspection about what OP is saying?
If a tank is soloing an instance, the last thing he cares about is what any of the other players are doing. Least of all in terms of DPS.
Although it is nice if they don’t body pull extra trash. Also a huge plus if they interrupt casters so they actually follow us.
yeah…and I literally HATE it when TANK players come in here trying to pretend they know what theyre talking about.
ive played every class in the game in every role they can be played in…so I have a little experience dealing with the good and bad on all sides.
“just use your spells you CAN use while moving”
Uh huh…so my DPS will be about 5% of yours then, gotcha, lol
Leaving EVERYONE behind, usually. Not just the healers. And it’s not just the over-geared tanks that do it. I’ve seen a lot of under-geared tanks do it. Or more often, attempt it and get the entire group killed. I hardly run dungeons anymore because this kind of tanking makes me want to rage quit.
You’re completely missing the issue. The issue is tanks who take off so fast that the players without the same kind of speed boost to keep up get left WAY behind. It’s zero fun and very high in frustration when the tank takes off so quickly the warlocks, priests, paladins, deathknights, and other slow classes are 300 yards behind. It’s not a matter of gitgud, it’s a matter of tanks having way too high of mobility compared to some classes combined with the mentality of some tanks of “ihavetopulltheentiredungeonandepeenmyepixskilzzoomzoomzoomzoomzoom.”
How do people struggling to keep up with tank? Even with DH or BRM tank they will ran out Infernal Strike sooner or later.
Yeah when your Death Knight tank takes off and is 300 yards ahead of everyone because tanks have too much mobility… that’s just the worst.
And for BRM, even Chi Torpedo or Tiger’s Lust isn’t exactly hyperspace-level mobility.
