Idk if they get better im only level 77 atm but i cant compete with anything as an outlaw rogue in even in AOE situations

Nah, outlaw just feels awful to play.
which sucks cause i prefer outlaw but it just feels like im not gonna get better in the DPS department
It does get better, the biggest thing is the short sighted but ultimately well intentioned change to haste the gcd reduction provided by AR. You need 20% haste on outlaw, it is non negotiable. Outlaw is a spec that is made up of a lot of moving parts that come together into a cohesive whole if and only if everything is in its place. It’s not a tippy top performer right now but it does enough damage that you can pull your weight / out DPS people less skilled than yourself once you’re max level and reasonably geared.
I enjoy it even pre breakpoint. I don’t necessarily think it’s designed well right now though. Crackshot is… not what I’d personally call healthy design.
I forget when I last played Outlaw. It felt GREAT with the right dice rolls. And it felt completely unplayable without them.
when your best stat as a dps is versatility then you know your class/spec is dead in the water

77-79 are fall off levels. Nothing can compete due to scaling in those levels
