Outlaw rogue changes in midnight

On the flipside, it’ll only provide 1 buff per rolling now so tracking buffs should have less cognitive load. :upside_down_face:

Combat was such a faceroll spec.

I loved it!

You could just go all out on your keys, it didn’t matter which ones, always top damage.

Only drop in the game I have drooled for was Blinkstrike, and hell yes I got it too…a few weeks after they nerfed it.

When combat got axed, I lost interest.

I still play a Rogue from time to time but I am terrible at it, Combat was my peak.

I never understood why you would want to track the dice rolls even if you could. So you can roll again? Wow, extreme game play right there. Now you will kill the boss .5 seconds faster.

I want Combat back.

The spec already got pruned into a brain dead state with zero skill expression going into Midnight and it’s still not enough for you people. Wild. Yeah lets just go back to vanilla where no spec is fun to play, remove every single button from rogue except for sinister strike, no finishers, nothing, and people would still cry until the spec has literally zero buttons left and can only auto attack.

Not every spec in the game needs to be made for people who want to put in zero effort while doing no real content in the game outside of pet battles and world quests.

It’s not that deep. Just a Treasure Island/PotC reference that’s gotten way out of hand; the pirate theming is just oppressive, starting with Pistol Shot/Between the Eyes not having any kind of other options for flavor.

I beg to differ, some of the most fun I’ve ever had was this game was during vanilla (and also classic).

Well, the rogue forums might have some good insight and discussion for you

I completely despise Roll the Bones and always have. And now they’re killing the ability to keep track of it effectively while still making it both random and mandatory to keep up? Pure trash design.

then play classic?

people need to actually read what changes are happening in midnight before commenting because this is insanely wrong

Just bring back Combat and be done with this experiment. It started out ok and was just made worse with every change since.

IMO Roll the Bones should be a passive that gets you a combat buff after using Between the Eyes or something like that, I’m not sure why is it an active button.

I’d rather play Midnight. It’s getting a lot of pretty good changes.

Roll the Bones is a top contender for worst ability ever added to the game, and it’s a travesty that it’s still around nearly a decade later.

I don’t even think Blizzard know anymore. The class is in utter shambles. It needs a ground up rework.
