Played swords all through classic to wotlk. Come back and find we are using guns now. Cool concept but it should NOT be part of our rotation. I should not be focusing on my combo point generator when I am needing to focus on keeping 4 cooldown abilities up WITH that same generator. It blows my mind you thought it was a good idea to screw with the main ability of a class that it uses for all its other abilities. (Roll the Dice sucks too)
The outlaw class is a flat out mess and trying to keep a rotation is a nightmare compared to other specs. Rogues with swords was an easy thing to do in classic and you somehow made it awful. Good job Blizzard

People that want skill play Assassination or Sub. For real.

why do you think ret is popular? cause it has 0 skill ceiling and all you gotta do is press glowy button to perform without issue, huge visuals every button pressed does alot of eye stimulation, solid lore. hence why its always tuned like a foot and bottom tier when you look at 90+% in mythic raid, but always high tier when you look at 10% percentile in heroic raid.
reverse that, sub and sin and easier t han outlaw rn. if you still cant perform good with both burst specs then frankly maybe rogue isnt for you

The problem with Outlaw has nothing to do with skill and everything with RTB.
That is why Assassination and Sub are gaining popularity.

rtb means nothing when you press in on cd for supercharger, the only time you dont press it on cd is when you have 5 buffs.
cant believe people are still blaming rng for their skill issues in the year of 2025. especially when sin and sub have more baseline rng than rtb has in general

Very good players can make any spec work like Survival Hunter.
But if players are not playing the entire class as a whole there is fundamental design flaws with the class.
Depends on your parameters.
For the whopping five people ‘clearing 21’s’, yea it might not suck, but the popularity of the spec and class in general is in a death spiral because there’s more people that are turned off than interested in the APM Jockeying that is this trainwreck of a spec.

I dunno man, I feel like In solo shuffle I get focused hard as sub and I get to do more dmg as outlaw.
Outlaw has better sustain but Sub takes more skill because you have to time windows.
it boils down to that? because rtb has so little to do with your damage than its crazy people still blame it when its most likely to be ss rng, ambush rng, not keeping up adr cdr, fumbling crackshot window or even killing spree getting parried.
its not that hard to actually see the issues people have instead of blaming rtb like a cop out
if you dont like rtb, thats fine you are allowed to dislike it. but to blame it for things it doesnt do is just smooth brain tier
