I wish Dog would come visit.
Where did we leave him, in the garrison? Maybe in the pet shop in Dalaran.

this is the one thing I hope we get to see in the future iteration. It was actually an achievement to take the dog from MOP and Legion into TWW.
Or future patches that offer ferris wheels and waterfalls and bulldozers.
The latest on Dog is that he survived the destruction of Dalaran. If you’ve already done the quest in Legion to get him in the pet shop at Dalaran, then you’ll be able to do this.
Go to the Dalaran crash site. Look for a tiny stuffed elekk and a water/food bowl. Click on one of these things (I forgot which), and Dog will come running up to you!
It’s how he will become a collectible pet (in the Battle Pet journal), although he’s one of these few non combat pets.
But yeah, do that quest and he’ll be a permanent companion that you can take anywhere.
its not 200 things tho, its 200 value of decor. which gets filled up very very quickly
You actually can get him to come with you everywhere now! He’s a pet! ![]()
If it was 200 ITEMS, that’d be way more than enough lmao.
Full support brother
It’s low, I made a stone wall barrier and almost ran out.
Ahh so that’s why I couldn’t do string lights and a lantern outside like in beta.
Eyup! The testers did their jobs, so Blizz wants to fix the servers to be able to handle it lol.
Way too small. Stone walls cost 5 points…looking like the great wall of china
And ‘value’ is completely unrelated to actual geometry to be loaded.
A flower bed is going to consume a lot, sure, but a wooden post is not 5x as complex as a trail of cobblestones. Even if they do look like crap and individual stones look much better.
I did it! Thank you so much!
Adding to the external lighting issue - from the original Dev comments, lighting was more of a client side issue than a server side issue. Remember that wow runs on a broad range of hardware.
The item budget, is a combination of server side and client side, needing to track and loading a large number of assets and the view distance ranges set by players. On beta they have introduced some more ‘full’ greenery items that seem to be made from groups of the smaller natural objects, because these are a single asset, even though they are larger, it is less load on the client and server to store and load the asset - we may find part of the solution is more of these combo assets.
I suspect the point cost is a combination of size, polygon count, whether it can have the colour changed (informaiton to be tracked), position, rotation, scaling etc…
Yeah but you can’t dye structural wood items and everything has position/rotation variables except interior wall faces.
Ahaa. Makes sense. Figured it had more to it than just what was done to find the issues.
That’s very empty
Mine is 185 and i have barely done anything! 200 is not enough
Well my level is not enough to post link’s or pictures lol
well, the hard part is it’s also an aerial shot which means four or five big decorations in the center get lost in the picture because you have to back up to get the whole thing in there. I also don’t need something every 5 feet in my yard. It would look cluttered eventually. Even most large homes on their own states seldom have anything more than a large fountain out front and maybe some stone walls with some iron gates and a ton of hedges and trees. I mean, I could go back in and put in like 10 more trees and I would still only come up to about 165.
