Original Werebear

I’ve asked many times for those who claimed Blizzard made promises to prove it by linking official Blizzard communications that use that word - and no evidence was ever provided. I’m being highly … rolling eyes … (not sure the right word for it) when I say that.

You also generally get the same people over and over who try to shoot anyone down asking for changes. Because we’re not allowed to offer feedback or suggestions I guess.

And as I’m typing this…you can look up and see that for yourself

That’s never been the argument. It’s always been that the original appearances wouldn’t return.

It’s absurd that the same people are going to post the same demands with the same misrepresentations while ignoring the same reality yet again.

Out of this particular context they have no respect whatever for player time investment.

People have actually said that many times.

Yeah sure, here’s another example:

You can keep linking this drivel, but unless you lack serious comprehension, you know they’re really talking about the rewards for completing the mage tower.

Cool, then let’s bring back ‘%, of the Black Harvest’ while we’re at it.

Hmm…

Yup, totally only talking about appearances.

Do you have waterfront property in Egypt? Because you certainly seem to live in Da Nile.

Let’s not pretend like we don’t know the reason. Not agreeing with it doesn’t mean it’s a mystery.

They may have, but in the context of the original appearances. The argument has always been about the original appearances. It’s not “Bring back the Mage Tower so we can have something different to do” and we see that time and again in these threads. The same group of people demanding the original appearances, refusing to advocate for NEW appearances that would benefit everyone, and turning their noses up at the new variants of armor sets that are now rewarded.

Time and time and time and time and time and time again it’s always, always, the only thing the people in this group care about are the original appearances.

You realize the Challenge Modes rewarded a gear set right? Or are you really obtuse enough to think people want to do the mage tower and challenge mode dungeons just for the fun of it?

If a new player does see those and finds out they are unavailable and there is nothing remotely equivalent, then it does seem like a lame reason to that new player.

I just enjoy reading words that people actually post instead of words I make up in my own head.

If they made the game right and it was actually fun.
Why not?

You can mock these people you don’t know and would never dream of having anything to do with. Go ahead if it makes you feel edgy.

I guess you like to disappoint new players and make them feel bad about not being able to get something like sparkle kitty form, which has nothing remotely equivalent.

Do you also blame them for not subscribing to the game since before they were born to bloat your ego even more?

Fact: FOMO is great for keeping the small number of FOMO addicts. But it is bad for getting new players, who end up disappointed that they’re being trashed by toxic players over the issue.

Okay we’ll play your dumb game…

Both of these posts that YOU linked are entirely about the appearances from the mage tower. Your lack of comprehension (or more likely acting like a toddler and ignoring plain English that disproves the dumb point you’re trying to argue) isn’t an excuse.

And I countered your “it’s only da appearances durp” with one who made the promise claim about Mage Tower itself returning, without no mention of rewards, and you stuck to your “it’s appearances durp” argument.

Sorry you’re having a bad evening.

You linked a thread that the entire purpose was saying it shouldn’t come back. Of course it didn’t discuss anything beyond that as it was intended to just be derisive. Durp is certainly appropriate with you.

It’s ok, I understand. When I’m making things up in my own head, I also get mad that other people call me out on it.

That was back when I was a child though.

Limited time collectibles are objectively good ways to market a feature and drive up engagement. Lots of companies do it for that reason.

It’s fine, but it’s also not what this thread is about. Seems I’ve been hijacked by the debate on FOMO.

Edit: Nevermind. I’m in the wrong thread.
