90% of charges/intercepts on orcs are resisted
I feel like a few hundred attempts is not a small sample size lol. Thanks for the data
Well AV was the BG i was referring too where a mass of damage is happening in a large group fight environment. Where there are no target swaps and you need to pump out a bunch of heals quickly.
Chain lightening is great.
But yes, if I wanted to play team play PVP…the chance to bop a target swap or freedom a warrior is pretty great. And my single target heal is fairly strong.
But in that environment, I’d still put the argument forward that druid healers rule the roost. Which is available on both side.
I feel like hots don’t tick hard enough in PVP to make the difference. I gave up on my druid at 53 it just wasn’t fun. A warrior could 2 shot me and I’d never get out of stuns from a rogue.
In AB yeasterday, orcs resisted 6 out of 7 bashes from bear form… Yes I have 4% hit chance.
The racial is completely broken given the number of class types available to orcs.
HErpA DeRpa PERCEPTION!
Hmm yes an ability that MUST BE ACTIVATED on a long cooldown that is only useful WHEN YOU KNOW A ROGUE IS THERE.
Wow I can’t believe they put such a blatantly overpowered ability like this in the game that is ocasionally a slight counter to a piss poor rogue who gave himself away…
WTF does sword skill have to do with anything?
Oh yes! Escape artist is SOOO WONDERFULLY USEFUL! That half second cast time is perfect for allowing your attacker to re-apply the root or slow.
ITS SOOOOOOOO UBER BROKEN OP That the cast time was removed in later expansions…
Oh yes, and stoneform! WOW! how wonderful! If you aren’t a rogue, you don’t use it in pvp but whatver, again it is an activated ability on a long CD.
25% stun resist PASSIVE is underpowered right? On a race that can take extra stun resistance through talents?
I think escape artist is great. However the fact it has a cast time is bot ideal. I have had my casy take up to 1.5 seconds with knockback effects in pvp situations, as well as be interrupted. This makes it the worse then other cc break passives. However it is great because of the short cd and the regularity of slows.
Making it less efficient than it’s horde counterpart, WOTF. Which is reactive, instant cast.
Nova’s with escape artist cast time, the mage still creates space.
Fear spammed creates no space with WOTF.
isn’t hit cap 5% in PVP for non -dw and 24% for DW?
Ahh, another fool who thinks that the 99% of players who dont ever read these forums (or any forums) or participate in theorycrafting are all sweaty min-maxers who chose their faction for the “obvious” bonuses.
Your ignorant opinion is duly discarded. You can leave now.
Anecdotal evidence is best evidence.
4% - there is always 1% miss chance on everything no matter what.
There is so much juicy anger here to unpack. Ha! I love how irrationally angry you are at objective conversation.
I especially love the over projection like I was typing or talking in hyperbole. Also, sorry that you feel you should only use stoneform for rogue.
Guess I’ll unbind it on my pally. It’s only saved my life a lot. I won’t miss it.
I mean if you are doing pve is worthless even if your against players that use fear ad sheep and nova and blind but not stuns it’s worthless. Honestly rouge stuns are overrated if it makes them choose a dps ability that’s not even a bad thing. You can’t even pick mage or priest as orc so it’s already a bad race.
I don’t use mods. Do mods let you see the name of the spell being cast? If they do it isn’t vanilla like. I don’t play horde so I don’t have any other suggestions for you.
They don’t let you see casts. You can only tell the hands are glowing to know they’re casting (plus animation).
This is only true for spells, not physical abilities.
Yes, and give an estimated cast bar. I used a mod to do the same back in vanilla too. The mods now in classic are actually far, far weaker than what we had available in Vanilla.
Most people who are serious about PVP will have an enemy cast bar mod and will not be fooled by your tricks.
Enemy player casts?
Hell no.
That info is protected data, you can not see it until there is an effect
from said spell to be logged.
You may see my casting animation, but that is all.
I could be casting hearth, moonglade teleport, or sooth animal, or clicking on a useless quest item that casts a summon etc.
The data of exactly what i am casting is protected.
DoT you are mistaken
That is protected data, no addon can see it, check the API.
The entire wow classic player base are min maxers.
Or at the very least the vast majority.
Basically everyone in every class knows their BiS gear list this time around. Meme specs are at a minimum and we do loot council instead of DKP to insure guild min/maxes it’s progression through content easier.
Yes. I do think people who wanted to PVP in classic min/maxed starting with which class and racials they felt paired the best for what class/gameplay they wanted to enjoy.
You are an absolute fool to think otherwise. Or you are trying to sell me wolf tickets.
