Simply put, Loa are Wild Gods. Tauren were taught druidism, generally, by Malfurion.
Loa aren’t 100% wild gods. They are much different than say Ursoc the bear. Loa are similar but different… Even dead trolls have become Loa so it’s… weird and complicated.
And according to the tauren they were taught by Cenarius first before the night elves. Later on they were taught by Malfurion, as he’s considered the “first” druid.

Shamans, mages and Farseers would have a word with you on that.
Shamans burned world trees.
Many of them also became warlocks.
They also devastated Outland in both MU and AU.
Orcs are a threat on a planetary level when it comes to preserving it.

They are all evil and have a history of being evil. On a racial level they are irredeemable.
So… considering that Orcs communing with life magic and druidism is absolutely insane.

Regardless, my point being that Loa are their connection to the Dream.

I see your point as an ethical issue, but from a logical standpoint, they have to know a balance in order to control and use the elements (which is part of nature). Mag’har can be priests, too same with Forsaken, and we know where the Forsaken stand, ethically. lol

As long as the same patch also brings wildhammer dorf druids, orc druids get my stamp of approval. Both stretch the lore a bit, but neither is any worse than tauren paladins.

Its not just that.
You need Wild Gods to sponsor you and grant you access to the emerald dream.
Every race that can become a druid has a wild god connected and I doubt any of them would accept the Orcs.
Wildhammer druids please. Think the old RPG had lore hinting towards this, and it’s nothing that’s been explicitly overwritten since then.

True. I think this changed my view, then. The Orcs will never obtain that, according to lore.
Except for the fact that they already exist. Unlike Orcs who have zero connection to the Emerald Dream.
But the thing is… There is an Orc Druids NPC in game.
