I have great news for you, OP. There is an option. You can opt to play BfA for BfA models or Classic for Classic models. Just like every feature of the two games.

We all have preferences.
Our preferences really don’t matter here. Classic is a recreation of the very successful Vanilla WoW. The vast majority of us are satisfied with that and really don’t want to entertain anyone’s idea of an improvement to the game.

Uh. I’m a feminist and I am here to play a s e x y human lady. Don’t blame feminism for the art team’s decisions. I would try to make the argument that reducing boob sizes is more realistic looking overall, but the new models look so bad I can’t say anything remotely good about them.

The art team’s decisions were correct. It was the sjw feminists who twisted the arm of blizz and made the art team ALTER their original work. I support equal rights for women. It’s the nutso ones who go around crying everything is too sexualized that I’ll speak out against. They got to blizz long ago. The models changed. The armor is no longer attractive. Realism? BAH. We know the real reasons why they changed it. Alt-Left snake oil feminists like Anita Sarkeesian.

Propaganda my rear. If it didn’t happen I wouldn’t have anything to talk about. You must be new to WoW. I’ll admit I’m a crusty vet who’s seen the ups and downs over the years. It’s why I’m looking forward to classic, back when WoW was ran by sane people who appreciated fun.

They would look like how you created them. If someone has a toggle on their screen, you won’t see it. It literally does not impact you whatsoever. There are already updated graphics in the game, you can toggle between those and the original vanilla graphics.
You’re right, it’s a change request, but #nochanges is often pretty stupid.

Once again, as someone who would only play with the original models and never enable a toggle for the modern ones, this is an absolutely ludicrous counter-argument.
There is SO much more to playing Vanilla than looking at 2004 pixels. The entire game is different. Preferring updated models does not mean that they would appreciate the massively different design philosophy that exists on Modern WoW.
No one fought for Classic just so they could see less-detailed models. They fought for Classic so that they could play a game with Vanilla’s design philosophy - a game that is actually an RPG. The graphics don’t factor into that whatsoever.

Maybe we will eventually get Classic Reforged. Updated models, reworked class balance, ect. It would need to be separate from Classic though.
So long as they update all the armor, world, enemies etc then sure. But at that point its not classic, its WoW 2

I like the new models, they totally got the side boob right, but they don’t belong in Vanilla WoW.

There’s already a toggle to use the Chinese Undead models in the Classic client. Your garbage excuse is already invalid.
If this is the case then people should stop asking for new models and new graphcis, if it’s only the gameplay that matters after all.
