Option to hide or disable battle pets in armory

there are some people who like to post on the character which has experience with the thing they’re discussing, whether it be posting on a specific class in the class forum, or on their gladiator in the arena forum… but even if we were forced to posting on one character, we still have the ability to put a link to our characters in our posts.

but the posting with battlenet ID would make more sense.

perhaps you should just report the thread, instead of the individuals, and be more selective with your flags?

(puts on a little bunny suit and pirouettes through the thread handing out cookies from his easter basket)

On a more serious note, if you’re trying to hide that badly - use a classic toon to post with.

The mods unflag the threads.

I’m told you have to tweet Blizzard to get them to clean the posts up but I don’t Twitter.

Just so long as names aren’t listed. Just because I’m tired of trolls doesn’t mean I wanna risk people getting doxxed or swatted.

But that’s a whole side tangent

I don’t see a problem with this. If people want more privacy, they should have more privacy.

Have they definitely been called out? Because that sounds like an assumption.

That’s not what I see. I see people acting like they always do. Going after each other for every stupid reason they can think up. Yes, supposed trolls do get called out, but any dissenting opinion from a person can get a person labeled a troll.

And no one would know that I very cleverly named my Disgusting Oozeling “Marx.”

I actually don’t care very much either way.

it would use your battlenet, not your realID.

only because there seems to be a sub-set of people who believe that anyone who disagrees with them is a troll.

Do people really get “stalked”? Like in game? Or are people just shy with their main?

Eh I’ve seen it happen to a few folks that weren’t trolling.

If people are looking at pets just to fish out troll alts then fine.

Some people sock puppet or troll on alts, and get called out on it.

Then they try to turn it around and play victim by claiming stalking.

I’d rather not have to post with battle tag, but I’d have no objection to blizz forcing us to stick to one character only on the forums.

I’ve been posting on this mage for years, so no skin off my pixel back.

No it’s mostly ppl don’t like being caught “sock puppeting”, liking their own threads or mass flagging others post with their alts.

Blizzard should make the forums account wide. Then this behavior would all go away.

Wait, are people SERIOUSLY still swatting people?

Don’t do anything that is so embarrassing you should feel the need to hide in the first place.

H3H3 recently got swatted. That’s the quickest one I recall off the top of my head.

Don’t care for that guy anymore but still sucks people are trying multiple times to swat them

Honestly if someone wants to be rude or a troll they shouldn’t go and be a coward about it.

That’s just downright sad… I honestly don’t even know what to say to people swatting still.

There is just absolutely no reason for it, at all.

Own it I say, no matter what a person does. If a person has to hide it, it’s not worth doing in the first place.

You know what would also solve it. A built in function that told others what characters you post on

the good the bad and the ugly

Exactly. Ugh I wish I could remember what movie this was from. A western I think. A guy basically goes “If you’re gonna shoot. Shoot. Don’t talk.” after they shot someone that was going to kill them. I guess they got a bit preachy. My memory is hella foggy on that though.

I take it you’ve never had a smol army of ebois harass ye then lass. Not all ppl who hide are bad.

Thank you. I’m not smart when it comes to that genre lol. I just know bits and pieces from cultural osmosis
