i came back for Era 2019 (after 10+years without playing WoW)
i came back to Era during Wotlk (because BGs were DK botsland)
i came back to Era after 2month of Cata
i came back to Anniversary fresh Vanilla
i came back enough, and same for a lot of people i think
They cut Anniversary’s timeline shorter than original Classic. But still not fast enough for some people. And according to you apparently it’s doomed without transmog. Looking forward to all your other, “TBC needs this or will fail” threads.
a lot of people saying MoP was peak PvP (i didn’t played it back in the days), so if they are right → i maybe will choose MoP over TBC if we don’t get Transmog and barbershop
We have been asking this since before Anniversary launched…
At this point with their long held silence I suspect the answer is “No” and they’re dodging because they know that its what keeps the players playing on Anniversary rather than just playing ERA Vanilla.
The reason is the Sunk Cost Trap, and I don’t call it a fallacy because really its a trap… They get you invested in a thing then string you along with silence in this situation and then you got all that work in the character for it to go to TBC now you’re more likely to play TBC as a result when its forced on you.
That’s what I see happening… Now if that is not the way it works out; GREAT, but I strongly doubt Transfers will be present for another reason also…
Within Classic ERA there is no option to Transfer from server to server (paid) any longer.
BUT there is a good reason not to allow transfers to Era from Anniversary unless they’re specifically LEFT as their own servers without the option to move to Whitemane / Mankirk and in that respect I welcome them to the PVP battlegroup…
As for being able to move to Whitemane Cluster or Mankirk, HELL NO! Stand well back because we do not want all those bots and purchased Gold to destroy our economy.
Exactly the reason MoP will likely suck. They always tend to use the latch patch despite the fact that its not the best in many cases and usually the situation of the developers of the time “what if we do this and that to test for next expansion”.
Patch phase previous to “Final Version” is usually (not always) a better version in respect to Wow. Its a shame that the Blizzard Classic team does not appear to understand this.
They should create a new Era without gdkp’s, for those not planning going TBC, or that want to clone their chars and play both.
Doesn’t make sense to move players from a non gdkp server into a gdkp mess, infested by swipers and opportunists.
I’ve been enjoying the significantly reduced bot and player population on Era ever since PhReSh. Open world farming is actually possible again. I’m finding real humans out in the world too.
This lower pop lower bot pop feels more Vanilla to me. Season of Mastery off-ramp heavily infected Era with an obsidian dagger wound that is finally healing thanks to those SOM players chasing PhReSh and the other prog realms.
