I know Siege of Orgrimmar is a bit off, but would just like to suggest an option possibly at the start of the raid to disable cloak drops from the loot tables in 10-player mode. [25m would be great too if people want, but loot drops are generally plentiful for 25m.]
Certain items can be incredibly hard to acquire in 10m due to only 2 pieces of loot per boss, and if no one needs cloaks in your group due to legendary cloak, potentially meaning we’d only be getting 1 viable loot drop from certain bosses that have cloaks in their loot table.
That has never existed in WoW.
Do you really think the Classic dev team has the resources to implement a feature that never existed? They can’t even fix bugs. Yes, getting cloaks if everyone has legendary is annoying but that’s just how MoP worked.
for those that didn’t have the cloak’s at the time in OG release, an could still be the same for this round for those that are either just catching up or whatever reason there is for not having it.
No but there are a lot of things that can be done to compensate the classic community for all of the neglect we’ve tolerated, the bugs, the silence and all around general lack of care given.
Ok, maybe they never had a loot filter even though they have the ability to personalize loot drops. They also have the ability to actually drop loot on bonus rolls! We’re in week 8 and a fair majority of the population has STILL only rolled gold and have never seen their BiS trinkets drop once off of bosses. For crying out loud, even if it doesn’t go to every person that wants it, at least drop it from boss at least ONCE to let us know it exists!
Don’t even tell me we all haven’t discussed the way streamers always seem to get their BiS right away amongst ourselves in Discord, LFG chat and Reddit. I’m pretty sure if we do a wow forums search it will show up somewhere as well. So yes, Blizzard does have the ability to change the way loot drops. They simply choose not to in the same way that that they choose not to change the way 10 man raids spawn 25 man mechanics and ads.
It’s no wonder the classic population is dwindling! We’re the poor neglected kids wearing holes in our sneakers and runs in our socks.
Yes.. no. They don’t give a flying f. They could at least fix something like the gamebreaking Lei Shen bug.
I know. There is a reason why I personally only raid 25m. But that’s just Cata-MoP gearing. They “fixed” that with the Warlords of Dreanor prepatch.
They buy it with real life money, or have priority for streaming content. Also they only do 25m raids. As far as my 25m guild goes (that cleared 13/13H on week 3), by now we all have BiS (minus a few Ra-Den pieces) Nobody is a streamer.
No, Blizzard does not change the drop changes for streamers.
