Optimal 5 or 6-Account Setup For Transmogs and Professions

Looking to optimize mog and profession-specific collections (excluding gathering). Here’s a list of professions I have along with their armor class (two professions listed in a single line means the same character knows them)

Blacksmithing - Plate
Jewelcrafting - Plate
Leatherworking - Mail
Engineering (Goblin) - Mail
Engineering (Gnomish) - Cloth (this can be changed since it hasn’t been leveled)
Alchemy - Leather
Inscription - Leather
Tailoring&Enchanting - Cloth

The goal is to have 5 accounts for dungeon runs for transmog, profession recipe collecting and Auction House PvP (one account is solely dedicated to this). I’m not concerned with gathering professions.

A 6th account could be made to fill the 5th dungeon spot if it makes a good amount of sense.

What are your thoughts on the best layout to go with?

Account1 - Auction House/Banking
Account2 - ???
Account3 - ???
Account4 - ???
Account5 - ???
Account6 (if applicable) - ???

Just don’t stand around with the characters together/using follow outside of dungeons. You will be reported and banned even if you aren’t breaking any rules due to the streamer driven witch hunts. Changes I recall you campaigning
for here on the forums.

Not my concern. I don’t alter the way I play a game just because someone wants to police a non-existent rule.

Thinking this over - engineering is largely useless, so I imagine we can leave that out of the equation.

Does Inscription have rare recipes that drops in dungeons and such or are those confined to raids?

keycloning is banned.

Cool, has nothing to do with the topic.

I’m literally begging you please put this effort into something more productive.

I’ve been told I’ve been reported many times, but have never been contacted by blizzard or suspended. I think what happens is they check your computer for banned software, and if you aren’t running any they don’t do anything more.

There is nothing more productive than min maxing your collecting.

Are you after class specific mounts, pets and transmog as well? If you include Dracthyr, you could fit in 5 more alts and they could gather for the others? (even though you said no gathering, extra mats are good though!)

Also, professions will be ‘branching out’ in 10.0. You might need multiples of every profession to fully cover everything.

yes that is my speculation as well. and if we are right then good for them. its nice to see that they have a program in place that can scan peoples computers for multiboxer software. because i multibox 4-5 accounts. i have 6 accounts but only got 5 active atm. and i use 2 pcs when running them. 2 accounts on 1 pc and 3 on the better pc. but i run window mode and follow. when i farm mog or w/e i click each window and loot etc…

but i feel the same way and i am happy that they have something in place because the program using multiboxers made it bad for the rest of us.

Wow. You come on here, with YET ANOTHER THREAD, asking for help on botting, and are incredibly hostile to anyone who replies.

Just…go away.

Yea, people tend to get hostile when idiots without a clue start spewing their verbal diarrhea like it some sort of truth. Go back to your sad little classic fantasy land…

I wouldn’t know. I haven’t bothered to play my characters in the same space since the thing even though I only used to do it for roleplay stuff because I don’t want to deal with people abusing the report function due to Bliz being Bliz.

I occasionally see stories pop up in my Twitter notifications from a dude in eu who sells carries (as an individual not for an escrow company) who has earned the ire of his competition for undercutting them. And the competition goes so far as to whisper him so they can right click his name when he first logs in and hasn’t said anything. They report him until a threshold is passed and it autobans him. And Blizzard repeatedly overturns it only for it to happen again. And I mean I hate carry ads as much as the next guy, but the whole automatic ban with enough reports is concerning.

I don’t have any faith in Blizzard and I have a guild to run. So I just don’t pay for all my accounts anymore. Sucks to be Blizzard.

It is the people who lie and make the false claim that multiboxing is “botting” who should go away.
