Perhaps but I usually went with it because Shaman is the closest thing we have to a Battlemage and when I think Dark Iron magic I just can’t see them in cloth, hanging in the back. I see them as in the thick of it clobbering things with both Mace and Spell. Then again Rune Magic is more Dwarf thing then anything really.
