Don’t know about your other classes but if your pally is ret, this ring is certainly BiS. This is why my paladin did overall for +15 Ruby Life Pools yesterday (5-Apr). The Storm Infused Stone is #2 on damage (6.8%) and the Desirous Blood Stone is #13 (3.6%); that’s 10.4% of my overall damage in a LONG dungeon run (33 min). There’s no third stone because the Prophetic Twilight Stone looks for a damage stone proc and then activates the other damage stone. Those are the three recommended stones for Ret. If you’re not using those you’re probably getting sub-par results. Best stones for each class/spec are listed on Wowhead HERE.

At 415 ilvl, you are a minority of a minority.
Only 17% of profiles have AOTC for rasz.
Only 24% of profiles have even completed every dungeon on mythic 0.

Guess mine does somewhere in the realm of 7 to 9% depending on crits. Most arc mages top out at about 87k single target so that seems to line up.
The blood stone and lightning aoe one proc a lot for me on ret. I’ve seen the lightning one do like 400k against a war creche mob pull or the boss that summons the elementals which imo is fine considering the mobs hp
The fire one + the stone that increases fire damage and turns it to chaos was aesthetically fun too
Don’t really need bis for farming world content though, imo its more fun to have your character set things on fire than do a fragment of a percent more damage with a bis ring
There are a lot of us who burned out on PvE a long, looooong time ago.

5k dps for me, and was a huge dps boost for my alt
Takes very little effort to get such a strong item that fast
I wholeheartedly disagree. On my Paladin alone I have 3 more shields other than my trinkets when tanking and I have 3 heals on my Holy spec outside of my trinkets.
I have three elemental damage types for my enhance shaman outside of my spells and trinkets.
Could they use stats, sure!

I actually like my Ring because it adds even more to MM burst in some cases.
You literally go in, kill 4 mobs, pick it up and leave.

There’s no way you posted this on a pally.
World quests, daily quests, and open world events and activities are the primary endgame for a large portion of players, potentially the “silent majority” of players.
If you mainly do higher end activities, though, you will by necessity be surrounded by likeminded players, and will start to think of that as the norm.
Exactly! So let open world, casual, and solo players be able to earn high iLvls over time from their content.

I am serious. Its garbage bin material. Only good for a fresh character who doesn’t have a farmed BIS necklace from M+.
So why do the majority of top parses in VOTI for DH use it?
