My server is very populated. It’s still common to get a few hundred queue during before raid starts.
If we can easily coordinate to find when the CD will be up and form with other guild’s, I don’t see how others could not.
If you’re also on a high pop server and find this too challenging, maybe you should have chosen a lower pop server.
Besides, alliance guilds wait in BRM to wipe us out with our buffs anyway lol.
Gonna laugh if this is just a troll…and we all just got sucked in badly.

How so? No one in your guild can scout in the most popular part of Org?
You can’t log on ahead of time? The buff doesn’t expire while you remained logged out.
You can’t change your raid schedule to accommodate this mechanic?
It doesn’t seem like you are providing yourself with options, you just want to advocate more change when Ony buff is classic staple of this version of the game.

Had this same issue last night, we weren’t able to get the buff for our Ragnaros run. I think the main difference is in the sheer scale of the population compared to before as well as the spike in farmability of ony/MC.
Honestly, the people who are disagreeing are people who wont make it into AQ40 or even hit 60.
this is /thread right here
Major faction exploiting it to have the buff 100% of the tine everywhere.
Sure sounds like it is working as intended and it is within your power to adjust your actions accordingly if you want the benefit. Perhaps you should ask why you think the buff should be handed to you whenever you want with no drawback or cooldown? Should we get rid of transmute cooldowns next?
I believe it’s a 6 hour CD. Also, consider in Vanilla that there were far few raiders- so not only could you pop a head when you wanted to in most cases, half the time the head wasn’t even up at all. Now, the head’s on the gates basically 24/7.
A big part of the problem is also that in Vanilla, full servers were as big as our current medium servers- this is going to especially be noticed for world boss competition. Blizz has taken things that already were often extremely competed for, and upped it by increasing the number of competitors without comparably increasing the number of prizes.
Bare minimum they should be doing is adjusting timers on these things to the same level of magnitude as the increased populations. At least then it’d feel somewhat comparable instead of far worse.

That’s a very good point - the population differential makes getting the buff for individual guilds much harder.

But by no means impossible. Reach out to other guild’s and find out when the head is dropping.
You don’t need to be in their raid group to earn the buff.
You may remember differently but this is authentic. No buff when the head is already up. Go searching around but you won’t find differently.
Guilds on a server should try to coordinate their buffs.

In the first 50 posts of this thread two people posted on 3 alts each to reply.
Go check out their ach dates, imagine the only way you can get support is by posting on multiple toons.

imagine being so triggered you felt the need to look people up.
Vanilla wasn’t designed with the current amount of people playing in mind. Pretty much anything worth farming on a high pop realm is camped to death by numbers greater than this game originally had, and it’s only going to get worse until classic’s pop drops hard.
If you think not having this buff is bad, just wait till a literal holy war is started for BWL attunement : /

It’s not like it was hard to spot. One of them has alt names all with similar names
