Maybe I’m a little nuts. But I have multiple names on reserve in the hopes of a Tinker Class.
I’d make a Female Goblin, she’d be my main, and I don’t think I’d ever have any second thoughts If I could play a Tinker-Tank in world of Warcraft.
I’ll even buy store mounts from Blizz if I get my class.
I doubt Wow could get it right, though. They gave paladins to trolls and mages to dwarves…
WoW HAS Gotten it right already.
The NPCs on island expedition teams have 3 specs, their abilities even have level requirements and cooldowns.
Half of the Tinker Class already exists in WoW’s code. It’s just not playable for some infuriating reason.
Also Troll Paladins have been a thing since Vanilla.
Nah, honestly if they are going to add another class I really think Engineer/Tinker is the most likely. What else could they do really? The only other thing I could see would be added new specs to each class besides druid. Time mage healing spec, or adding a gadget spec to hunters, etc.

I think even the crappiest WoW specs are better than the uninspired design of other MMOs. Or at least, most of them are.
Hunter is boring as hell outside of Survival though.

Felt… they just need to hire a serious team that can balance it, not a bunch of interns that use WoW as a learning tool.
New Classes are pushed by the board of Game Directors.
The Class balance team is there to clean up their mess.
And I find Survival to be boring versus the other 4 melee characters I have. I don’t really find BM or MM to be that much fun, but this is coming from a Ranged Survival former main so…

I mean no offence, but it seems literally every hunter on the forums used to main survival.
Personally I play specs that interest me. Arms Warrior, Prot Warrior, Windwalker Monk, and Brewmaster monk.
I’d drop all of them in a heartbeat if I could play a Tinker Tank spec.
Tinkers in Warcraft 3 Had Mech suits, Missile Barrages, and Pocket Factories (which behave similarly to turrets.)
So, Yes, I’m describing Iron-man. But that’s what Tinkers are in Warcraft.
Just think Big-Clunky Shredders, not Power Suits like Ironman.
We have space aliens with inter galactic travel.
We have space aliens with inter dimensional travel.
We have space aliens with laser beams.
We have 1 ranged spec that cheers on a critter while shooting spitballs and another that is just a mechanical mess more often than not and both use middle age looking crap more often than not.
We have a prominent group of sister elves, who are all archery rangers, and who all empower their bows with some form of magic but that gameplay is not available.
You don’t get to be Iron Man until I get to be Sylvanas again and/or shoot friggen laser beams out of a super streamlined futuristic rifle and not something spouting crazy gadgets or animal parts.

Frayed and disgruntled. You have any idea how hard it is to finally give up and look at ff14 just to learn that their Tinker class is literally JUST HUNTER?
I don’t wanna play a Stupid hunter with a single stupid pet, that I have no interaction with.
I want to build tons turrets that I can buff, or maintain.
I wanna Tank in Shredder suit.

I’d love to have a Tinker class… I‘ve got 3 characters that I’d reroll as Tinkers immediately if we got them… Rachot here is one of them… my Gnome BM Hunter and my Mechagnome Outlaw Rogue are the other two…
I can’t bear to remove some of my beloved rp characters.
But I have a few names on standby.
Roxxie, Kritz, Fuze, ETC.
She’d be a Female goblin, I know that much.
And yeah, I’d reroll day one. If they could tank too, I’d literally never change back. 
GW2’s Holosmith is anything but lol. Its a really fun bruiser-type character. Basically that game’s take on Enhancement/Ret.
