Only stating "limited time*" in the WoW in-game store is bad customer service

Literally nothing you’re ranting about has anything to do with the OP.

If you can’t be bothered to read, LOOK AT THE SCREENSHOT and understand what’s actually going on… then I suggest doing what you said you were doing earlier and going to bed. Because you’ve seriously gone off the rails.

I mean, you’re allowed to have opinions. The problem is those opinions have nothing to do with anything else thats being discussed.

From a political perspective, I think I understand what you were getting at. And that is fair enough. But it really didn’t have a place here. lol

Nah. Words mean what people want them to mean these days. There are no hard and fast definitions any longer. Just look at all the folks using the word predatory to describe every other item for sale anywhere.

Look, all I am saying is, I have seen thread after thread about Gold being to hard to obtain, how Blizzard is SO evil they want to just milk us all until there is nothing left.

Excuse me if I get a bit hrrr in that regard. Im just sick of it. The devs love the game just as much as we do, if they didnt, they would have gone to EA or Ubisoft or some other truly money hungry corp.

The devs themselves are usually not the problem when it comes to things like the recent decisions that were made. Sure, they make for a convenient scapegoat but it’s not really fair to lay 100% of the blame at their feet when they actually don’t deserve it. I think most reasonable people can recognize this.

I saw someone the other day, refer to a games EULA as being predatory to people that dont read.

Yeah, I got some clarification earlier but I appreciate another heads up. :+1:

People are allowed to complain. If their complaints are sometimes over the top, exaggerated, or even wrong, that is allowed.

Just because the devs love the game (and I agree with you that they do), that doesn’t mean they don’t get things wrong, or don’t make bad decisions, or can’t be out of touch with the community.

As someone who has played WoW since day 1, and as someone who also works on a game mod for about 1/3 of that time, I understand what working with the community means.

But sadly unlike I with my game mod, the devs often aren’t the ones making the decisions. And the people at the top who are directing things isn’t even Blizzard, it’s Microsoft and their shareholders, and many of those people do NOT care about the game.
But they DO care about profits, and so if they make a bad decision we need to speak up to let our displeasure be heard so that the people who make these decisions can make a better one.

And none of that has a darn thing to do with the OP’s complaint.

Absolutely not one thing to do with it.

They are talking about a shop timer issue that’s inconsistent. NOTHING ELSE.

This is also true.

I fully agree with that. Its just that I have seen so much hyperbole and quite frankly willful lies that I am just…tired of it.

I had asked earlier if there was a source that proved the claim that this Bruto would never be seen again…

OMG… that was not the OP.

:woman_facepalming:

Yeah I get the feeling they are really frustrated and wanting to vent everywhere they can, even if it’s not the appropriate place to do so.

Ironically there are many places on Reddit where their desired topic of discussion is welcome. They should post there, not here. Politics are a pretty big no-no on most gaming forums.

That wasn’t the OP’s problem.

Sorry for taking text at face value and not looking at a Name.

You went off on your political insanity even before that post.

OK. I hereby concede all points made.

I would suggest stepping away for a little while and decompress.

It’s not even about what specifically you were posting. It’s that what you were posting was just off topic and not relevant to the original poster’s post.
I’m sure many people agree with you, but this is just not the place to discuss that kind of thing.
