Blizzard doesn’t care about average customers. They only care about major streamers. This is proven by the fact that major streamers get revived when their characters die in an unfair situation like a ddos attack. During recent server crashes where no major streamers were affected, we don’t seen any statement/support/revives from Blizzard. Average customers/players are just ignored despite paying $180+/year. I really regret buying the 12 month subscription because the customer service quality is so appallingly low. I don’t even want to give this greedy company another cent.
many max level characters were revived , not just streamers. A simple crash is not the same as a ddos attack.
It should be treated the same to be fair.
Agreed. No one should be revived.
Maybe, but that door has already been opened by Blizzard.
It makes no difference to the player if the servers went offline due to a DDoS attack or because Jimmy tripped over the cabinet’s power cable. Makes no sense to treat them differently.
Also I don’t really play hc so I’m just throwing out random opinions here.
Those were incidental to the streamers revived. In other words they were only revived because streamers were already being revived. This is proven by worse DDoS attacks happening to other guilds being DDoSed and losing many lv 60s and no revive action was taken. It seems the only difference in being revived or not is if major streamers were affected. Can you point to any other distinguishing factor?
I think the issue needs to be server side and not client side. Otherwise you could get people yanking their ethernet cords to DC when they are about to die to get a free rez.
Ideally yes I agree. Though it seems Bliz didn’t take this approach. They neglect to rez HC elite when they got ddos’d but did rez when Onlyfangs got ddos’d (server ddos’d I should say in both situations). It unfortunately seems the only distinguishing factor is if a major streamer is involved or not.
yea we know bro, we know.
