This is what supply and demand can look like, paired with what people are willing to pay.

There’s nothing that stops the rest of you from crafting. Or just giving in and paying for a transfer to a server group that isn’t dead. If he’s the only one making stuff, he kinda has carte blanch to set prices as he likes.

What world quests give that much?

A lot of them give between 600 and 700 gold each. The flying ones often do but if you scroll over the world quests there are others up giving that.

Right now I have History Lesson: War of Shifting Sands for 630g up in Thald - A climbing quest in the Plains for 613, Highland Rebuttal in the Plains for 728g and in Azure span a climbing for 668g and another climbing for 685g, A resupply for 690 and Bring them Home for 628g. In addition to the flying quests which don’t show the amounts but normally over 500g.

Easy 5k just by spending 20 minutes doing world quests.

Note - my character has opened up all the world quests - based on your armory your character/account probably has not.

My fav is the people who put up a public order, no mats, 250g tip (to cover the 10k of missing mats) and leave a message like “rank 5 or don’t bother”

I wonder if anyone sells the build your own house kits like Sears used to? I grew up in one of those houses. My Dad and Grandpa did a great job building it.

The hard workaround is to just make lots of crafter alts I guess and have them make your stuff for you.

This sounds like an opportunity to build your own craft skill and undercut them.

3 600g world quests is 1800 gold.

And since many world quests give more than 600, it’s reasonable to get 2k from 3 world quests

It’s been 8 days, were you able to finally level up that profession and undercut those greedy crafters?

u kidding, it costs lots to level and nobody wants to send order to someone who have no skill, this system sucks

Well if it costs a lot to level up the profession, then I guess they feel justified to charge what they want, I know that I always try to keep my prices reasonable, but that’s only me and I can’t control what other people do.
