Iā€™m fairly certain there was this huge movement by the fans, talking about how they didnā€™t want changes to the game. Something about ā€˜no changesā€™. Iā€™m sure I heard something about that. What was it called?

That movement ironically tainted the experience by being close minded.

Thatā€™s what rabid fanatics do to everything. There is no instance where fanaticism is positive. Moderation is always key.

Iā€™d assume a multi billion dollar company would have the common sense to know that, but here we are with undertuned content. Itā€™s SAD when the private servers did a better job with small teams.

If only they beta tested itā€¦ or gave us a ptrā€¦

That wouldnā€™t make a difference as they completely ignore feedback in their betas as seen with their recent expansions.

Youā€™re making a fundamental error. Publicly owned companies have to answer to shareholders, who like seeing companies do things consumers ask for (so long as it brings in money). A bunch of pirates working on their own have no one to answer to.

The people who do code are not the ones who make decisions. The ones who make decisions arenā€™t the ones who know design.

Well, if they put competent people in those roles, then they would listen to the right people. A better game means more buy it and they make more profit.

All the good people left many years ago. The game is run by clowns now.

They shouldā€™ve hired Mark Kern back since he was the one that did the original vanilla.
