When I saw this I thought it applied to all Mage specs since it refers to a talent in the Class tree, but the PTR confirms that only Arcane Mage gets 2 charges of Barrier.

This on top of the 4% avoidance just comes to show they don’t understand how bad Mages have it right now in the survivability department. I hope to god this was a mistake and all 3 specs will get two barrier charges.

I’m hoping it’s a typo because it’s in the Class section and not the Spec section. Frost is losing it’s second charge of Ice Barrier so I’m not sure if they intended to have a class talent to give an extra barrier charge to all the spec shields? It’s a very weird change.
The added healing to spec is getting is kind of funny. You have to live the damage to actually benefit from it, which I’m seeing Mages struggle to do, due to their gutted defensives.
