Just because you’re so cheap that no one wants to pay you doesn’t mean we all don’t get paid
And yet all you have of it is the corpse of a horse that was murdered in BFA. I say bury the thing rather then letting it stink up the place.
We have no idea what is in the city, or how it operates yet, especially if they anticipate that it might not remain accessible to Alliance in the future.
I imagine any Silvermoon-specific reps, or rewards that require players to enter the city will be placed elsewhere in one of the other zones.
Lorewise even before this the Alliance(like Turaylon) are able to go about the city. Lorewise I think Blizzard will(or at least should) end the expansion on a positive note and actually allow the elves to “unite”.
We have some ideas
The prey system is located in murder row
We know theres a questline about the blood elves getting annoyed at the paladins in the city
It just feels like wishful thinking to me that they would erase the 12.0 patch content from the game in order to get rid of the alliance.
Especially when they’ve already made sure not to share it fully.
Well Turalyon is an Alliance leader, and we know that when he was in Silvermoon he was on official business to meet Lady Liadrin. We’ve seen Horde leaders in Stormwind and even the throne room after all.
As of now, the only ones with free-reign on the city would be Blood elves and High elves.
Predictions of how the Elves unite:
Divorced to his first wive, or divorced to jaina?
Yeah but I feel like the prey system is gonna show up in each consecutive expansion now, so likely whatever the new hub is will have a new version for up-to-date content.
And any questline can be undetaken while under the midnight phase. For instance, you can’t undertake the seige/liberation of org quests from BFA anymore at all, they’re completely deleted because they were too close to org
Any vendors, or rep reward NPCS could literally placed in any of the zones we’re getting access to after all.
I imagine Silvermoon isn’t going to be constantly phased into Void storms for the rest of it’s life either, it’s likely a version of Silvermoon made for midnight.
I like the way you think, Faune it sings to my shipping soul
When has any X-pac Hub ever changed?
At most maybe they’ll add phasing like Undercity but it needs to remain the same forever just like the two Dalarans, etc.
They just need to put zidormi there once the expansion is over so players can toggle between midnight and post midnight
Post midnight will be horde exclusive.
The midnight version still being the midnight version
When has any hub ever taken place in a faction-capital?
This is what I feel like will happen, players that progress far enough into the story (likely the next expact) will phase into the newer version of the city.
I could see that too. Poor Zidormi will have 3 options of Silvermoon though in that case lol
Blizz will endorse divorce but not polygamy
This might sound toxic, but ATP, I think the people who care about the imbalance with Silvermoon becoming 2/3 Neutral and 1/3 Horde should just unsub and refund Midnight. They should’ve planned this better and given the alliance the Exodar. The army of the light is supposed to be heavily Draenei ANYWAY!!
Blizzard has already shown to abandon systems they create like the battle pet dungeons/tournaments, the world building, the lore, the PVP (cuz they stopped PVP realms and now people get banned for “griefing”.) and the leveling, fast passing everyone to end game to raid when a lot of people are only raiding because its the only thing left to do in the game. It’s clear Blizzard doesn’t listen to the people who ACTUALLY keep this game afloat. It’s so disappointing.
I mean, the people who keep this game afloat are Alliance mostly.
Just look at the delve race, which faction won worldwide?
Idk if this is meant to be a dig but I really don’t care. Most level headed people have both factions, me included, I just don’t like favoritism and bad planning with bad game design and I’m encouraging people who feel the way I do, to actually DO something about it instead of complaining on the forums which has never resulted in anything tbh.
Don’t like favoritism? Then just end the factions.
This. This a thousand times. If they intended for Silvermoon to be a Horde City, then THIS should have been the route they took. We’ve had separate faction hubs for expansions in the past. Trying to have a single faction hub open to both factions for an expansion was the dumbest, “Let’s have our cake and eat it too,” rationalizations I’ve ever seen.
