One WEEK cooldown on conduits is absolutely ludicrous

They also dont take a loot slot (just like essences) only difference is one is always interchangeable and the other must constantly be obtained multiple times.*

Damn auto correct man, bane of my existence.

ah. so it doesnt have anything to do with changing between pulls. its all about meaningful choice then. ty for the info.

You can also see guilds and groups NOT doing it, so again… what’s your point?

You don’t need much res gear. Just have a paladin/shaman. And warriors can tank in DPS gear just fine if you look at fury tanking meta.

The majority of pug groups require every arbitrary thing under the sun.

A week is too long…an 4 hours at most

But why?

Why 4 hours? Why not, you know, 0 seconds? What purpose does it serve other than limiting your available options and excising the decision process and ability to enjoy your class/spec and try different things?

Druids get outscaled (because scaling for many classes in vanilla was whack) so they don’t make great MTs overall, but they are the best OT, specially since they take a bunch of gear no one wants so they can be just as geared as the MT, which a warrior OT can’t be.

I mean, if you don’t get why they don’t want 100 things you can change between every boss or dungeon you’ll never get it.

No, I don’t. Care to explain?

So far your answer has just been “Because.” That’s your answer. You’ve not given anything other than “Because they don’t want you to.”

But WHY don’t they want people too? What’s the problem with being able to change your talents/swap a different item/change a conduit? No one is “changing 100 things” - there aren’t even 100 things to change. Including every item slot and talent there are 24 things to change.

They don’t want it being swapped per encounter 4 hours is a good middle ground. As it both prevents that, but still allows enough leeway without feeling like you’re stuck for the day or…in this current form the week.

I’m not saying they can’t be tanks or good tanks. I’m saying warriors overall are the more practical choice because of how the game was itemized and set up in Classic. They have inherent advantages and if you’re a human warrior, even better. And Classic is played much differently now because of an evolved meta than it was during the vanilla years when BWL couldn’t be completed in under an hour. lol

No, they would rather you regret your decision for a whole week than let you swap. Bad player! Make the right choice!!1!
It’s just bad game design.

Go look up skarm if you want a full rundown. Guy runs both Druid and Warrior tanks but prefers playing his druid.

1 week is a bit long, but it shouldn’t be infinite.

Maybe X number of swaps that regen at X rate.

What’s wrong with people changing talents or conduits from encounter, dungeon, or boss? People do it now all the time. What’s the problem?

Not too worried about the weekly thing. Just wondering if they are still going to be shared across specs or if they’re considering making it spec specific.

I’d kick someone who kept doing that.

Stop replying to this thread. All you’re doing is trolling and providing off topic irrelevant responses.

Well, they change based on your spec, but the soulbinds in general are shared.

So if you set up a path for prot and a path for ret they would switch if you switch specs, but the ret path would always have ret conduits in it, even in prot.
