One of my characters is gone after a transfer

A day or two ago, I transferred 4 characters from Dalaran to different realms. Two went no problem, one was missing until I logged into the specific realm and it then correctly retrieved the transferred character. This last one though is nowhere to be found.

The character’s name is Xedred (80 Warlock) and I transferred him from Dalaran to Alexstrasza. Now, he’s just gone.

I went to Alexstrasza hoping it would resolve - didn’t work.
I created a new character on Alexstrasza as a potential solution I saw somewhere - didn’t work.
I closed everything down including battlenet app and updater, then cleared cache - didn’t work.

I checked worldofwarcraft characters site and he’s not there.

Wowthing still had him for a bit.

raider io still has him on Dalaran.

How can I get him back?

On the top right of your character select screen is a search bar. Try searching for your missing character and see if it pops up.

Comes back with an empty list.

The character list, that shows how many characters are on a particular realm doesn’t usually update until you have logged into the realm itself.

It doesn’t appear that you transferred that character to Alexstrasza, Xedred. It’s currently on Aggramar.
