Be thankful for the memories you have and will continue to make until that day arrives. Cherish the good times. Life is short. Make the most of it. May the Lord bless you all.
Everquest: launched 1999, still playable. Runequest: launched 2001, still played. Ultima Online: launched 1997, still played.
Many old MMOs are still alive and still played and a lot of them are on Steam. While people want to play and any profit can be gained, WoW will roll along.
I played Dark Age of Camelot before jumping into WoW. Starting to feel old now. Kneeshooter, stay cute.
Always, attractive if creepy Orc.
You’ve nothing to fear! Helya is the cream in my coffee.
Boy… yeah, I hear ya, there, Hoss. I’ve thought about this on-and-off since I started in 2005. It’s like knowing that that cool new show you’re watching is going to be old memories to you, maybe good or bad.
Watched some clips of married with children and I am saddened. That show could never be made in today’s time. Can’t believe how fast times flies.
exactly why I tell people they should be grateful about WoW
cause that day where WoW shuts down one last time can happen after 10.0, 11.0 or even 12.0
people getting angry about WoW for the smallest things is wasted energy and time
When WoW shuts down, people will celebrate like its the fall of the Empire from Star Wars.
Much of what made Blizzard great in the past is dead or gone. All that remains is a soul-less corporate entity that views us all as numbers on a spreadsheet.
If that day arrives I’ll just go to a private server or host my own local server. Blizz shutting down makes no difference to me.
I would play my hunting game if the cord was cut.
If all existence of wow was erased and I couldn’t play it I’d probably play No Man’s Sky as it is more endless than Wow lol.
Total War; Warhammer 3 would be played a great deal more.
Even more fairly recent things. Imagine if The Boondocks were released today, people would be going absolutely ballistic and the funniest thing is the entire show and comic strip were done by a black person who used it as a platform to poke at glaring flaws he felt were present in American Black culture.
People would think it was made by some white nationalist.
there will always be someone that brings it back one way or another.
everyone would start off fresh, but they won’t lose wow that easy.
not trying to make it sound in a denial kind of way it just that i have seen it happen with old mmo that are quite popular and wow is one of the most popular that is now losing is popularity because of bad management.
…have they added Mortal Empires yet?
My friend is waiting for that. He loves the Beastmen.
I yearn to wash the world red in the name of Khorne.
Corn for the corn god. Shucks for the shuck throne.
I am playing Khorne as well
I’m surprised some players struggled with the base campaign.
Then again I don’t think many players got 3-4 armies up and running with Bloodthirsters running as commander in each of them.
