Oml, Gilneas is so bad

Goblin is hands down rhe WORST experience for a 1st time zone. I do Exiles Reach for Worgen and Goblins.

Old content gets low priority. Fun nerfing, game breaking bugs (current content), are top priority. Class balancing is somewhere down there as well.

Have you posted this in the bugs forum? Folks do seem to look there, for what it’s worth, but who knows how Blizzard prioritizes things. Might be helpful.

It’s been a bugged mess for well over 10 years now.

I’m pretty sure it’s been made worse because of CRZ or something. AI doesn’t seem to spawn and path properly in many places. The issues are strikingly similar to the ones encountered with Vashj’ir regarding the ship scenes and the final submarine ride. The Alliance ship scene and the final submarine ride were both removed from the game, while the Horde ship scene still exists but has broken AI spawns (no NPCs appear at all for Horde).

At some point they might have to do something about the deteriorating state of the Worgen starting zone, hopefully by actually fixing the buggy quests instead of just getting rid of it like they did with parts of Vashj’ir. Some stuff may have to be updated to more current phasing tech and the Battle for Gilneas City may have to be converted into a scenario so it can be placed into a singular instanced zone so that AI spawning and pathing works.

I have no idea if it’s actually feasible for them to fix these issues in the Worgen starting experience. Blizzard seems to be getting serious about player experience, so anything is probably possible at this point.

replay the bloody starting zone cus it has a plethora of bugs now that do not get much attention and ironing out.

They won’t even fix the bugs related to the NEW starting zone, and in fact this support article has been around for well over a year just telling people to ‘lel delete and recreate character.’ https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/278183

But yeah there’s so many bugs in older content it’s not funny, and in fact there’s also no mount/riding trainer in Gilneas either so you can’t learn to mount/use running wild once you level past 10. Previously you auto learned the basic level of riding and could use running wild, but now for whatever reason you need mount training to use it (imagine that, makes no sense.)

I’ve reported a lot of the Worgen starting area bugs, and the weird lag for the zone for a long time but to no avail.
