I mean, being poorly received to me is something they defnitely could’ve foreseen. They had 2 examples before: players not liking mechagnome “diaper” limitations and shapeshifting druids ever complaining for not having as many cool options as everybody else.
So, even though they (probably) had those, they still thought it was a good concept to run with their playerbase, that’s why I feel it was a bad concept for the product they have.
Well now this begs the question, why can other races not be Evokers? Hopefully that is the future of this.
Big change though, it genuinely makes me want to level an Evoker. They have weirdly had really cool tier sets too (despite not really being able to wear them)

I again agree to disagree, you can’t please everyone.
Many like Mechagnomes as is, most just don’t. If you don’t like robot limbs, Gnomes have always been right there, no need to muddy the new thing to be like the old thing.
They’re broadening Druid’s forms, so I can’t say a lot about that. I also had that complaint lol
I think a lot of this issue is self inflicted of the player base and not a shortcoming on Blizzard’s part. You can only predict but so much “criticism” before realizing the people need to just get over it.
You don’t NEED dracthyr to be exactly to your liking, there are like 13 other races. You don’t NEED evoker to be playable for you because there are like 10 other classes.
Just make the spells cast from the evoker visage form… the lizards are ugly
Probably anything that requires flight, hovering or breath effect. So quite a bit.
But seriously, if you dont like the lizard, dont play a lizard. I hate orcs, so you know what I don’t do? Play orcs

This is great. I’d almost play mine now. Almost. The limited range on their spells and empowered spell mechanics still ruin the experience for me.
Will Worgen be able to stay in their human forms lol
if they fixed the skinny necks and heads and made them match cinematics\art then i would play one
Man, if Worgen had this, I’d legit make mine one of my mains.
Like, swapping to Worgen for only for a few moves, and doing the rest in Human form, not just entirely Worgen in combat only.
Mine is a Monk, so imagine punching and kicking as a Human, then Fists of Fury as a Worgen and flying across the battlefield in a feral frenzy.
Being two races in one, is appealing.

Once this is successfully implemented, that feels like it should be most of the way towards allowing other races to become evokers?

That’s what I was thinking except what dragon form would other races take
Maybe they’d use an unique humanoid dragon form, but with some customization via the barbershop? Like a very lite-Dracthyr, but different enough.
(which would be a great opportunity to let DHs also customize Meta there)
