Sorry if this question has already been answered, but is there a way to check the progress on the donations / see how close / if weâve reached the stretch goal?
This is my first real charity event I guess that Iâve payed attention too and really want a lil bb sloth >.<
(Also; how soon should we be expecting these? A couple months from now?)
I donât think itâs started yet, unless I missed something somewhere.

Ohh okay, yeah I havenât been able to see if / when it started either. I know they said they are doing it differently where you donate exactly to the charity itself, probably basically meaning the pet wonât be on the shop and be rewarded like the tree mount?

The article says that they will post details on the main worldofwarcaft.com site, but there isnât anything about it currently, so unsure if it hasnât happened yet or what there
That would be the link to donate at yes, unless they are making one specific for their event.
That said, yeah I donât believe it has started yet, as you said they would have something up on their website, and if they have their own individual donate link that too

Thereâs no link for donations in that article that I can see. Just a link to the Doctors without Borders website.
Iâm guessing this hasnât started yet. It would be a big deal on the main website with goal trackers and announcements.
Theyâd have to have a specific link. Otherwise, thereâs no way to track donations.
Most places that have donations have a field to note down if the donation is for or from a specific person or cause, so the group being donated to can credit the person or group that was running donation drive or whatnot so they get credit regardless of if they make their own donation links.
That said, I agree for this event Blizzard would probably make one.
But this needs tracked by Blizzard for these pets. Youâll see a progress bar somewhere of some kind, most likely.
Obviously, the person donates, they note down it was on the cause of Blizzard, and when everything is tallied Blizzard gets told how much.
A link doesnât give them dollar amounts on how much was donated, it is just automatically telling the donatee who the group sending them the donation is from without having the person donating have to note it down.
That sounds reasonable but until Blizzard gives us specific instructions or clarifications, Iâm gonna wait.

I would wait, as was said from the beginning, semantics on links and noting down who it is being donated for aside, since it isnât on their website it probably hasnât started yet
